Listen to a lonely sound
See the grey and sadness all around
See the people go their way
Care not of me and love I've lost today
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've looked into her eyes
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've seen her once or twice
And so I'm living for a dream
Each lonely day spent looking for the sunshine
I'll make believe that I don't care
I'll tell my friends I love my life, I'm happy
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've looked into her eyes
Maybe tomorrow, I will love again
I'll never know until I've seen her once or twice
Wherever, whoever you may be
Let the light of your love
Shine through the window of my heart
And when you've coloured all my thoughts bright
Don't let me ever, ever think of night, no-oo yeah!
Maybe tomorrow, you will love again
I'll never know until I've looked into her eyes
Maybe tomorrow, you will love again
I'll never know until I've seen her once or twice
Maybe tomorrow, you will love again
Maybe tomorrow, I will luh-uh-uh-uh-ove.
Its 2024, who else is listening to Badfinger, such a shame they could not see how their talent would someday reach millions of fans. RIP. TOM, PETE & MIKE. ❤🙏🙏🙏....
❤❤❤❤
37 years later, and there are still people who listen to it, I promise Tom Evans and Pete Ham, they will never be forgotten.
We gotta keep passing it down
We totally do have to keep their legacy alive because what was done to them was wrong and they deserved so much better and so much more than they ever got.
Maybe
Hey Miguel..........I am definitely still here, and will always be!!💔💔💔🌹🌹🎼🎼🎼🎶🎶🎶🎶love Barringer, and I certainly know of depression .......and losing loved ones...!!!💕💕💔💔💔💔🥀💔🌺🌺here in 2021...... hope your doing well Miguel!!!!!🎶🎼🌻🌼🌺🌷🌷🌷🌷
Love this! Beautiful song! 💖🙏
Badfinger, one of Britain’s best ever bands.
It’s true
The best ever.
So vastly under rated. had they not been effectively put on ice for 2 years just think what other
great songs we could be listening to in there memory.
And it's most underrated
I'm just starting to dig up all these great songs Jim... truly incredible talent. Such a sad story but their music will live forever!
Most underrated British band ever and easily one of the very most underrated bands ever
Wonderful and such sadness. Tom’s smile and happiness on film would not last. A great band that didn’t deserve the way they were treated.
What an absolute tragedy, I loved their music in the early 1970’s, sadly, totally under rated like a number of their time.
Their music is as great today as ever
It’s absolutely heart-breaking seeing Tom looking so happy and full of hopes in this video, when we the listeners know the tragedy’s that would become of them. It brings a tear to my eye every time I listen to this song RIP Tommy, Pete, and Mike. I hope they know how loved their music is today and forever 😭
I feel the same way! I only wish they had a decent team behind them that cared about them. "Lost Inside Your Love" is a great song as well.
Kila Adams I fully agree with you
You can tell by the expression on his face that he's hurting .
JE PREFERE CETTE VERSION * I LIKE THIS VERSION ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BRAVO
💔 no words
only love
A newer Badfinger fan here! I’m 20 years old but I think I first listened to them when I was 17 baby blue of course. During that time I only knew that song so it took me a while to listen to more songs it wasn’t till like 18-19 years old where I started listening to all the albums. Each album have amazing songs and it’s so sad because Badfinger has become one of my most favorite bands. To Tom Evans & Pete Ham. Truly amazing song writers, they are missed but I’m glad they left us with so many great songs RIP
They got great friendship too
In July 8,9, 1972 I saw Badfinger in concert at the Pocono Mountain’s Pennsylvania I was 17 years old that concert
I'm 17 yo and I'm also a Badfinger fan, it's my favorite band
My favor venum is no matter what.
Great band sad that they got ripped off by another money grabbing
I'm 60 years old and I have listened since the 70's
Tom Evans and Peter Hamm were such amazing musicians and never deserved the fate they were given.
Here it is 2021 and they live on in our hearts.
Maybe tomorrow is one of those songs that everytime you hear it will give you a shiver in your spine.
Yes absolutely
Where ever. Who ever you may be 👍
Truly
Someone should make a movie about theses guys . Not just as a warning to other talented people who can get conned and cheated until they are driven beyond despair but also because the world needs to hear what amazing talents they were.
I have always said that with the Royalties going to their respective families. However there would be so much red tape around the various issues I don't see how it could happen.
With out you Dan montovani
@@steverodgers7866 Indeed!!!
Good idea.
Tom and Pete's voices together have the same magic as Lennon/McCartney.
the bish You're right. Pete and Tom were better.
I would say Badfinger had better harmony than the Beatles. They sung higher notes than the Fab Four!
Even the Gibbs, Clarke/Nash, Everly Bros were better than Lennon/McCartney xdd no offense, I'm a Beatle fan too however, credit where it's due
Absolutely correct
Badfinger has a special place in my heart.Their music is in a class by itself
Each one talented in their own right and missed
I will never forget the Badfinger concert February 16,th 1973 Salt Lake City, I was 16 years old, being a BEATLES fan since 1964 I could never accept the break up of the BEATLES but Badfinger helped along the way with a sound alike style, Beautiful, so Beautiful !
u are a Lucky one to have seen them...... They are still my favorite......What a memory.... Their music Lives on! Talented men.... RIP
lucky you!
They didn't want to known as a band comparable to the Beatles & not for the band that they were.
No one could compare themselves to the Beatles and of course they sure didn't want to but it was obvious they were influenced by the Beatles and nothing more! Plus maybe you should take a listen to "COME AND GET IT" by the Beatles and you'll know what I'm talking about!
What a sweet smile Tom has just after he does the scream.
I think he knew the lip synch was slightly off and had to laugh, thinking about how the whole country was going to see it. X)
This is beautiful!! I've never heard this song before now. RIP Tom Evans 😥
Probably because its pre Badfinger when they were called The Iveys - whom I had the pleasure to see
in 1969.
What a handsome man with a beautiful voice......RIP xx
Someday I know badfinger will make it in the rock and roll hall of fame...they r a band to never ever forget👽👽🌌
Why diminish them by electing them to that shit show hall of crap
Tom Evans was such a talented man. RIP Tom and Pete. I know you guys are making great music in heaven above.
I just love Tom's high pitch, screaming. Wish there would have been more of these. RIP sweet man!
What a melodic voice! Love the lyrics too and the band. R.I.P. Sing in heaven.
Such a beautiful song. I wish Pete, Tom, and Mike were still here singing/playing their forever loved songs. 😢
RIP guys... your music will live on forever. 🎵❤️🎶
Such a beautiful song....💔❤️😘😪Tom and Pete were awesome
These guys were so talented. It breaks my heart. I truly believe they were on their way to be one of the great bands. I know that both Pete and Tom would have had a better chance if they'd had today's medicines, therapies, and the stigma removed from depression. Such incredible songwriters. Melodic, beautiful power pop. It's just such a bummer.
От дивия капитализъм няма спасение! Никога! (Поздрав от България!)
We can actually thank The Beatles for giving us Badfinger. Paul wrote Come & Get It to get them on their way, and John came up with the band's name.
@@boston-strong8887 Yep. Sigh. I think they would have become one of the bigger bands in history.
John it was their American record company who ripped them off,ask the rollers about that.Pete's only way out was suicide, but you don't get a pay out and his partner got nothing and had to bring up her daughter on her own.
@@judis6224 One of the saddest stories and "what-if's" in rock history. Yes, their manager was a "soulless bastard" as Pete said and drove him to despair. I saw Pete's lovely daughter at the presentation for his blue plaque at his childhood house and she said some nice words about the dad she never knew but that her mom had kept him alive both in memory and photos.. Tom had the voice of a songbird too.
What a voice! Magical 💫

An under appreciated and under played song. These guys were very good.
I hate how the record companies screwed them over & we lost their talents! RIP
@KENNY The Allnighters band SLOAN agreed. Polley wasn't just a nasty crook he was also extremely stupid. He could have made a lot more money if he had played it straight as the band would have been mega worldwide and the money would have been rolling in. But he was too greedy and crooked to realise this.
RIP my dear friend....you were an unappreciated legend.
dakota7609 ohno. I APPRECIATE HIM /THEM VERY MUCH. and I’m not even british
Wish we could re release it.
It makes so much sense in our present times.
Tom Evans was one of rock's finest, and, IMHO, was the voice that defined Badfinger.
Tom Evans was the Holy Grail. Every band in the whole wide world covets a partner who can play bass like that and sing those tenor harmonies! If i'm lieing, I'm dying!
Pete with suspenders, Ron with a scarf and Mike with a medallion! And Tommy, what a pop star! And what a unique voice. So special.
this has become my favorite pre Badfinger song, it shows just how great they were. You will live forever Tom
🤗🤗🤗badfinger one of my favorite band when i was a teenager,, until now🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Love this song. Played this several times with my guitar in November 1969. A couple weeks later I flew to USA from Philippines straight to ‘Boot Camp,’ in San Diego, CA. Then follows along my Vietnam War personal history. “Thank God I survived.//henry
Thank you for your service and sacrifice
I went to boot camp in San Diego, too! 1975.
Thank you for your service and welcome home
Someday I’ll be surrounded by my love ones and they’ll certainly be playing this Wonderful Song before they put me six feet underground - I’ll be Happy Forever and Ever!!!/henryE…….
“To my lovely Wife and our Family.”
What a song.🎼🙏♥️...52 years old and still forever young. Ham and Evans were great writers and who knows what they would have achieved. It may be a cautionary tale of bad business affairs and the corrupt world but it was also about the gift they left us with. Never forgotten and endlessly brilliant. Thank you for the tunes boys. R.I.P.🙏♥️🎼.x
I love his smile 😀
His beautiful smile!! He was son pretty! I love Tommy
WOW! First time hearing this song, BLOWN AWAY!!!
I pray he is at peace. I saw the sadness in his eyes while singing this song.Their tragic story is hard to forget .

40 years on & still missed. R.I.P. Tom...
Tom Evans was the best harmonizer I ever heard
Fantastico ! Grazie, Tom Evans, amore’!
2023 still listening...love it!
Maybe someday badfinger will appear put of the darkness...wouldn't u luv it.
They were so special
Love when Tom smiles.
Such a hi voice!
Tom & Pete were truly an immensely underrated duo. The songs they were able to write is just down right amazing and I see that people do regard them as good as the Beatles and I honestly see it and some songs like this one & Without You show incredible song writing that even The Beatles didn’t have.
"Without You", written on the spur of the moment & became the most covered song in R & R history! And well deserved to be!
First time I've heard this one, love it 💞 great band great songs. 💞
dang listened to nough of thier music to again wish i were born a bit earlier..they lived a bit longer all is well you're right they are a best ever.... we have this! can listen.... cheers
i can't get enough of this song and of course the fabulous badfinger they were up there with best move over beatles
Badfinger One of my most underrated amazing British band second shadow of my fav the fab Beatles,,they will not be forgotten Pete,Ham your music lives on.
Tom Evans and Pete ham listening to your music gives me inspiration to go on livin but knowing what you have been through in life makes me sad, I know life is uncertain and nothing last forever but your music will surely live forever in our hearts badfinger will always be my favorite band I want to thank you for all the music you left us....
Just a Brilliant Song From The fabulous Badfinger Love you Badfinger Nige xx
i was 6 month old baby when pete took his own life and i was 9 years old when tommy took his own life but i just discovered badfinger music these guys should be wealthy men now
Oh my! I've been a Badfinger fan since I was 11. A tear comes to my eye watching and listening Tom singing this! I see and feel the hope and dreams anew in his heart and eyes here... So sad he came to the end as he did for just the crass and crank business dealings of one horrid man. Love you Tom and I hope you've found peace and are playing that bass and singing wherever your soul is now you wonderfully talented man 💓😢
Pete looks like a little kid stood there in the back. Toms eyes are gorgeous as is his voice. 🎶👍🏻🎶
Loved this band in my younger years and still strong with me today❤️ listening to em in 2021 of March💐
I listen to this song a million times when ever I can.
Way too sad to listen to sometimes because of their tragic deaths. They wrote such awesome songs together. Prob one of the saddest stories Ive ever heard.
They had a great band going, great music and all around great bunch of guys. Heartbreaking how it came to an end.🙏🏼🙏🏼
Rest In Peace - Tom Evans thank you for bringing so much joy to me :-)
This brings back memories of elementary days ..love this song so much yes already a music lover those times
such a beautiful song. Thanks Tom Evans for treating us with a really good song, You and your music will be remembered by many for a long time. RIP
Beautiful voice. x
...thanks Tom, I'm so happy...I love your songs...
Fra le canzoni più belle di tutti i tempi. Great Badfinger, great Tom Evans!
I just discovered this song today. Christmas day and I am alone. I have listened to it 3 times, and it is now one of my favorite songs. Thank you Badfingeriveys. Much appreciated.
Wherever you are Paula
I hope you are ok
A beautiful song, that should of been a massive hit.
What an amazing song and such a tragic story.
This is pre-Badfinger (The Iveys). Seen standing together are Pete Ham, Ron Griffiths and Mike Gibbins. Tom Evans is singing lead.
I think the name change was unlucky.
@@misscoutts6193 you quite possibly have a point there. I saw them as The Iveys on tour with Marmalade. Mike Gibbons was walking down the street and I did not know who he was till I saw
him drumming on stage.
Beautiful
Love from Japan...
Thanks from Japan...
Pena que tudo se acabou ....
Saudades....saudades...
Mi emoziona come allora... bravo Tom...e sfortunato.
I'm a Beatles fan they are my favorite, but even though the Ivy's sounded a lot like them they really didn't copy they were playing around the same time as the Beatles, I love badfinger rest in peace, Pete and Tom
.....and Mike.
Such a waste and a shame.Badfinger were one of my fave bands of all time and i could weep every time i think of or see Tom and Pete performing.. I have performed a number of their great songs over the years in various bands i\ have played in and it still brings a lump to my throat ( and i'm coming up on 60 )
They were absolutely fantastic.
@Judith Soto-Pastor No ,sorry. Most people put them on Facebook and I am not very tech savvy so wouldnt have a clue how to put them on youtube.
Love this song. I remember 2012 is my worst time, lose job and listen this song make me happy.
Such a beautiful voice he had x
RIP Tom, never to be forgotten.
A magical song ,and it makes me think of days gone past, this one gives me chills....
so talented!!
That song just fills the soul.
Tom has a voice. Wow.
Remember them in early 70s as Badfinger, great band and great songs. 😘
this line..I'll tell my friends I love my life..😢
Tom Evans never quite got over his band mates suicide, But Tom and Pete Ham complimented each other so well, they wrote some classic songs.and still to this day, they are as popular as they ever were !
What a beautiful song. It should be number 1. Thanks for posting this.
Yes it's a radio staple back then
Powerful and perfect 😢
I was a very small child when these guys came on the scene, but now in my 40s, I've gained a huge appreciation for their great talent and all they were cheated of in their career.
I bought the 45 when it was released after hearing this song on the radio only once. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've actually done that. This was just one of those songs. They were called The Iveys back then.
What a fabulous song I miss all three of you God Bless RIP thanks for the music Love Nutty Nige xx
