- Officially unemployed this week ahhhh!! It feels almost surreal because the last time I felt this sense of uncertainty was when I was a fresh grad years ago 😆
Thankful for all the farewell treats and meals of encouragement by the fam & ex colleagues. I’m sure these will bring an abundance of good luck for my job hunt!💪🏼

I know how it feels like to quit a job that you no longer enjoy... but in my case, I was able to use advantage of wfh to study for my next job back in 2022, and finally quit with my dream job lined up next. Must be a little unsettling but I do have a good feeling you'll be in a much greater job in time to come! Hwaiting~~

Enjoyed your video! This coming Friday will also be my last official day of work. Because if you remember, I have been juggling with both masters studies and full time job, so since I’m in my final semester of my studies, I decided to focus purely on my studies and thus resigning from my job.

All interviews work both ways, both sides assessing if we want to work with each other, so if I feel I don’t like the interviewer or not keen on the role anymore, the lack of interest would show through (e.g. no questions asked). It’s not a bad thing though, we cut short the interview and don’t waste each other’s time.

Very rude interviewer that after the interview i called the company , asked for him and told him off for being so rude and he has no right making those lame comments 😂😂😂 we all learn and as long as we don’t let it repeat, it’s good enough - 祝你好运 ❤relax first while you are searching ok!

Unprofessional interviews I have encountered before, they question and prejudge and question motive of applying for the role also. Sometimes I think they already had a candidate in mind. Look forward to your next video 😀.

the rude interviewers were a blessing in disguise - because let's say they offered you - most likely you would have declined based on their personality as I'm sure that's not the sort of people you want to be working with/for. I'm sure you're already doing this - but I always like to read employee comments about the company they work for on Glassdoor or Indeed (job sites here in the US). I don't let the comments sway my decision because it could be disgruntled employee venting out, but more like food for thought if I ever go to that company.
Yup I actually read Glassdoor/Indeed reviews before applying to jobs. The rating for this particular company was low, but I wanted to give the role a shot bc the job scope did seem to have some potential to grow my competencies. Oh well!

To hring managers out there, please be professional and DO NOT disrepect your candidate. We take our time off to come to the interview. Please be respectful even if that is not the reply you are expecting.

im on the other side of the fence when the interviewer is disrespecting or belittle. had an interview and the interviewer is yea mean and cold sure but his track record shows that he is super ups and is very knowledgable. got the job and worked with him and he was total opposite. his stance is, if you can handle that pressure, u can handle anything and was definitely one of the bosses up there that was knowledgable, shared a lot of knowledge to the team, forces us to upskill ourselves, make sure we are ready for anything that is thrown to us by clients, contractors, authorities. my POV nonetheless. so i don't think its a clear cut red flag or anything.
Lucky you to have met such a leader! I was in your shoes; accepted a job offer despite the interviewer being really curt and belittling, because I thought I’d be able to handle her. She turned out way worse than at the interview hahaha. The turnover rate at that team was crazy high. Never again.
