2019 Linn-Mar's 10th St Edition "The Yellow Wallpaper" at Urbandale

10th St Edition's Grand Champion Performance at the 2019 Urbandale Show Choir Invitational. This show is based on the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It depicts the 1890's misguided treatment for mental illness or "nervous conditions" by isolating the inflicted person. When a new mother suffering from postpartum depression gets isolated in a room with hideous yellow wallpaper her condition soon turns into a serious psychosis.
