Did you know that English wallpaper of the 19th century was often made with Arsenic? One side effect of possible arsenic poisoning can be delusions.
Omg
The delirium in the story is explicitly caused by being trapped in the room and in her role as a woman/wife in the restrictive culture of the time
It was green..
Maybe that is why she chose the yellow colour and not the green. So we wouldn’t think it was because of arsenic.
They was poisoning ua back then and they're still poisoning us today. ☠️💀
A bit disappointed with the unnecessary jumpscare, nonetheless adapting this to a movie is interesting

Huh
Alex Garland's upcoming MEN seems to be operating in the same area, so the trailer suggests, anyway.
Is this based on short story of the same name?
Yes
is this a real movie coming out?
It's based on a classic novella of the same title.
@@cynicofthesystem book
@@t8torx654Less than 100 pages (or so) is a novella. The Yellow Wallpaper is 66 pages.
