I do believe the part where Jennie says " the brighter that light gets the longer my shadow gets" represents how their fame is growing and how that affects her negatively putting her in a dark place. Next line is so deep it made me cry actually "When It's too bright, can i look back ?" which means now that we are at the top, can i go back to be the unknown simple happy girl ? because she misses those times it's really really sad especially with the way she is singing it so desperately like crying for help

I'll actually say that this is the best song in the album. This is so relevant to the girls. They have been through so much, especially being thrown hash criticisms and false accusations. This is my favorite song of the album. I wish there were more songs like this on the album, one that's more than 3 minutes long. I feel that the whole idea of releasing a "full" album is having more songs like this to truly express yourself and your feelings. Not every song on an album needs to be a 3-minute catchy tune.
