Instead of people just enjoying the video and being thankful for them to sharing a part of their culture, people are crying about the environment. Honestly just shut up if you really care go to the big companies that polluted the world for years and are still doing so. Most people that are crying I bet even contribute to pollution in one way or another. Damn 😤

This smoke isn’t really that pollutive at all honestly, it’s the factories that are letting out toxic gases and manmade chemicals that’s pollution, this smoke is not much different than wildfires and other natural things which doesn’t really affect the earth much.
But on the other hand it can be a bit harmful for people if they breathe this in, as long as everyone’s careful and away from the smoke then all is well.
Smoke is just fine particles, not a gas, it all settles back down to the ground and gets recycled into the environment.

They're not used for artillery shells lol. They're filled with BP and a clay plug is used to seal off one end creating the bang when it's lit from the other opening (fuse).

Guys, I don't think that these firecrackers here would lead to apocalypse when oil companies are literally dumping tons of carbon into the atmosphere every month. Just appreciate that there are still people out there who are enjoying their tradition and not having to take away the fun out of everything.

Talkin about the video... There is a gud part that the people are sharing and enjoying their culture... But even check the pollution.. like dude people will end up sayin "This is nothing as compared to the pollution produced everyday or by the large factories... Every person thinks like "Yea itz just a minor pollution problem, it can be fixed"... But if we EVERYONE ended up thinkin the same way u can see that it will end up havin a lot of pollution... Kerala is a place with a lot of greenary, I agree and this event is totally fine to clean the whole environment... But yea not only pollution is the case, the explosion and the sound... And just look there was a whole fire thingy at the end part of the vid, what if this took place around the area which has wires above... It might even lead to fire accidents and even the sound problem, itz not gud for the people with hearing problem or heart problems, what if it leads to panic attacks, like bro c'mon...
Yea I am not saying that this event should never be enjoyed... But I am sayin the fact that how about enjoying it with harmless, environment friendly crackers.
Better to prevent somethn rather than fixing it after any disaster will happen.

We used to have a ground salute display here in my city you can find vids on here for called South Shore Frolics: blow up the beach. It was epic and lasted for over 2 decades until a bunch of hipster d-bags took over the area and started complaining to the city about their scared pets and their windows shaking🙄. Like you can't just deal with it for 20 mins one night a year so that the 20k festival going families can enjoy it🤬
