- This week I took the NEW M15 Manticore Coil out for it's maiden video dig with my great mate Mark! On his permission the coil smashed out DOUBLE SILVER, COINS & loads more.
Super impressed with the M15 coil. I didn't need to change any settings at all, and it remained stable and calm! I use the Freestyle Programme, which can be found here @slownlowdetecting on Neils channel

By the by. We are down at the beach this weekend and I will be sporting a fifteen incher as well. Also brought down an SDC 2300 and the GPX 6000 to see how they go on the beach. Hopefully a bit of deep jewellery.

Marcus another grand day of detecting. Some silver is always good. I know the larger coils but at least these days they aren’t solid any longer. I had an old White’s that had a solid 24 inch coil. I think that is what wore out my shoulders. Going in for the left rotator cuff the beginning of March. Keep after the coins and artifacts… John
Hi John mate! I can imagine your pain with the rotator cuff - that's the exact same injury I sustained a few years ago, and is my swinging arm - so have to be careful with the weight. Must say it has been ok so far but don't think i would want to be swinging it for 8+ hours on both a Saturday & Sunday!! Thanks as always for watching mate, keep me posted with the surgery pal!

Excellent silvers and even a bullhead sixpence, we also call all of the George 111 silver recoinage of 1816 -1820 bullheads, although we know Gareth only refers to the half crowns as the true bullheads, but they all have the same type of bust based on a Roman emperor, complete with laurel wreath or laureate, albeit does look smaller and not as fat on the sixpence and shilling coins. We have only been lucky enough to find one bullhead half crown and they only come up very rarely. All the best from Wendy and Jon in Derbyshire.

Doing really well with the Manticore Marcus. Suits you sir. Got out with my club Saturday for 1st time in 3 months as was extended night shift. Back to normal rotation now so be going out more. Spring around the corner so all good. Think I'm doing a weekender with the club this spring instead of Detectival and reckon I'll go to the Rodney Cook if I can get a ticket. Looked like a great event. Not sure you go to that one? May end up at Detectival if not but preferred the live bands in the early days rather than the dance music they seem to always play now. It's a metal detecting event 😄
