So many good details in this video! :D Thank you for making this and for the shout out!
Thank you Tarik, means a lot and I appreciate the support. 🙏
You are such an amazing competitor and it's a huge honor to feature you on my channel. Cheers brother
You're a total beast!!
@@soviethammer9111 thank you man! 😄🙌🏼💯
You’re control and balance in the position is incredible. It looks like you could easily ruin any of these guys shoulders but you apply this submission controlled and allow the opponent to tap.
@@lastactionhero7541 that's kind of you to say! thanks man! 😄 Fair play is important in jiu jitsu!
Don’t fight the guy with a submission named after him... lol
While it’s true that hopstock does this amazingly well, the kimuroplata is older than him. That said, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone apply it with such efficiency. Truly awesome display of the kimura’s (where it all starts) potential
💯💯 Agreed
@@dannyinformal Whatupp a wild Dodo appeared
Jacob dodos everywhere! Gotta catch em all!
@@dannyinformal its not kimura where it started.. its actually ude garame what was renamed in brazil after kimura when he defeated the gracies. so it goes back to japan as most if not all does :)
Having learned in one of tarik's many seminars at my school, I can say he's both a friendly and excellent teacher
Blessed, wheres your school harry?
@kommisar I believe he's still brown belt
@@BJJTrickster Jungle BJJ in Dublin, if I could give u someone to watch for, my nogi coach; Tom Halpin, won the ebi cjj featherweights tournament this year, didn't throw a single strike and subbed all of his opponents, one of which was imanari who he beat in 20 seconds after imanari went for his roll
Noted, Tom is amazing! 👊
He is coming to my school on Friday!
Whats crazy is that I naturally found this submission while rolling and used it more as a bicep slicer. The details in this vid definitely expand my knowledge on the position!
Glad it helped! Cheers
Initiate Tea Bagging sequence.
Tea Bagging complete.
VICTORY!
Badass
Thanks for watching
Best directions ive ever seen in a combat teaching video
Glad you think so! Cheers mate!
This is one of the sickest submissions.
Thanks for watching
So devastating... combine with a can of beans an hour before the match and I can't see even a Gracie getting out.
😂😂😂
LOL
you guys are my favourite BJJ youtube channel
Appreciate it brother 👊

THAT IS AN INCREDIBLE SUBMISSION MOVE DEADLY
Thanks for watching
I'm saying "tap tap" in my head while watching. That's brutal.
Same here where I first saw it. Cheers
Great coverage! A big help, pictorially, in execution & balance.
Much appreciated! Cheers
Damn he has got that one down! Great Job!
Very very cool techniques thx !

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful
Glad you enjoyed the video. 🤙
So sick
Slick. Another great breakdown, too.
Thank you!
Learned this is class yesterday. So cool to have a move named after you, that's awesome!
It’s a great move isn’t it? 😀
Great analysis and details. Suscribed
Much appreciated! Cheers
Nice! That's a slick move.
Wow! Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Oww this, i remember teaching this years ago, my kimura attack series from top but with other arm in. Difficult to get but now it seems with the other arm in rather than right (if attacking left arm) then it opens up a new set of moves and attack. Ill go implement it and try for a few months now. And theres a dangerous kimura from the kimura grip position my teammate did to me many yaers ago, with teh same rotation. Diff is that what my teammate did was to hurt and break the arm with no remorse, this move here is more controlled and able to not use brute strength but rather tech and leverage
Vicious move! 👌🏻
💯
Watching this submission. man i felt pain. Wow i would love to see him Agianst top level wrestlers. Total respect to tariiiq. Oss
Well said

Amazing. Ten years ago i was a white belt with him, i remember he was good at omoplatas

@@ciarancahill546 no idea, i never asked about peoples age when we fought. But his name always popped up on the website of upcoming events and wins on Frontline
@ the intro:
Man some guys just don’t know when they’re beat...just let him take the shoulder lock and stop trying to eat his ass. Sheesh!
*I RESPECT that he taps them out but doesn't DESTROY his opponent.*
Tarik is a super nice guy
@@BJJTrickster
Solid 👍
You and Lawrence Kenshin are great!!
Thanks Kiran, that means a lot
Eu já sabia essa finalização!
Really good way to finish a classic kimura from the top if you are up against a strong guy who is going to put up a fight.
You know you're in trouble when a dude who has a move named after him is currently trying to apply said move on you
I agree with you 💯💯
Actually, this is the another way to finish kimura when the opponent is between your knees: Assuming you’re right handed, you step your right leg over his left elbow (that you’re still controlling with both hands), let go of the wrist with your right hand, and grab your right thigh with your left hand. You’re in the “Tarikoplata”.
I hate shoulders, I love this.
Haha cheers Matt, thanks for watching
Maan that tarikoplata is no joke at all. Looks like a leg version of a kamura that's scary he made his own move out of a move already.
Yes for sure, a very solid move
@@BJJTrickster hella crazy to have witnessed that.
50% of the damage ppl get direct on the face... ASSome moviment.
That's creative my bruh
Sub and teabag opponents in one move, noice

In the first clip at the end the guy is like"get your ass away from me already!"
So its like a kimura with the leverage of a peruvian necktie?
So what made him tap? The pain or the smell?
👍👍
Is this available to withe belts?
should be yea
I have to learn how to do this
@bjjtrickster what video editing software did you use to produce this? You did a great job. Looks fantastic.
FCPX 👊
Is there other names for this submission? We call it something else in my gym.
I sometimes wonder if these master can pull of these submissions from either side? It seems that people favor one side or the other depending on their own strong side.

omg...lol
Who ever said that is dumb.. I've used to Jiu Jitsu in a real street fight after the dude said "I cut him off in a walmart parking lot". He charged me he took me down but was worthless on the ground had wrapped around his arm like a Boa. Took the security guard his girl and my girl to pull me off that dude that had at least 120 pounds on me. Jiu Jitsu can save your life! Or others! In real life, with a simple touch of moderate rage, this shoulder will pop out like it's nothing. End of the fight right there... for a long time. You stand up and walk away. Mic drop.
Can White belt do this submission at competition in IBJJF rules?
Yes, 100% legal
This is forex trading leverage.

you mean it is.. a very bad idea? lol
its like the baratoplata with the arm going through the elbow and onto ur leg but he is facing the other way
A MASTER: You’ve seen their move. You’ve seen it more than a dozen times. You’re watching him do the move on you, but there’s nothing you can do to stop it. You’re fighting a MASTER!!

@@riggsmurtah2788 thats a bit different
Soooo a Baratoplata from the top?
The Tarikoplata uses the kimura grip to setup up, traps the opponent's wrist with the crook of the knee and the position is facing away from your opponent. The Baratoplata uses the bicep slicer grip to begin with, traps the opponent's wrist under the groin and the position is facing towards your opponent's face. Both submission are internal rotation finishes (Kimura). The Baratoplata can be finished from top and bottom meanwhile the Tarikoplata can only be finished from top.
BJJ Trickster Beautiful explanation. I knew something was off on my understanding as soon as I posted the question.
Entra com chave de bíceps e gira para omoplata, bacana.
In the baratoplata, from bottom or top, the hand is trapped on your groin side, so this would be inverted
Yes, it's really hard explaining this to people without actually demo-ing LOL
How to escape???
Tap
I’m fascinated and yet don’t know what the hell he’s doing?!
Bro what would happen if you just kept going with it?!
So many highways to the Danger zone.
Isn't this just a mounted Baratoplata?
One way to get pink eye
Wait, dude is a purple belt and already has a signature submission named after him¿
💯
@@BJJTrickster Savage and inspirational!
I just saw a guy force another guy to toss his salad... I've seen it all
It's amazing when you can invent your own subs lol. I remember when I was in security I learned one of my Russian co-workers had one named after him and he used it on a violent subject in front of me. Brutal as fuck
What's the move?
@@zaidhussain9123 he called it reaper. To describe it, it looked like a cross between a judo throw and an RNC. But he did something else, I'll need to ask him sometime if he'll show me again. It's been awhile.
5:04 Tarik makes his opponent literally kiss his ass. That's enough reason to tap out
Damn, tapped out by the ass-to-mouth technique..
