Theme Song by Hello Control: bit.ly/hellocontrol - Krátké a kreslené filmy
What are your favorite mobile apps we should try?
Honestly you can’t go wrong with Apple Pages and a Pencil on iPad for making notes on a script.
Kinemaster premium
mcpro24fps (alternative to filmic pro)
Adobe Premiere Rush
I’ve used VSCO for 9 years, it’s where I started color grading my pictures, and i’m still using it to this date. And they’ve not too long ago added so you can color grade videos now too, but I haven’t tried that 😊
As always thank you for letting me know I’m moving in the right direction! I have all of these apps except Luma fusion which I will get when I purchase my iPad next week!!
Love Filmic Pro! I use their app for all my shorts films and videos. Thanks for acknowledging the smartphone filmmaking crowd guys!
I wouldn’t consider myself a professional but I love using Videoleap for videos especially on the iPhone. Interface is not as deep but you can do some cool things with that app. Definitely got me more into video production
For photography on my iPhone I use ProCamera. Very close to a manual camera with many features that produce results. It's been my go to for location scouting the more I move into film production, but I am going to take a look at some of your suggestions here that I have not yet tried. I do like ShotLister and ShotDesigner though, and Milanote is a must have for everyone not just film folk.
Fuhkn INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you so very much Film Riot Guy. You just opened my eyes and mind to a new indie reality. Super professional description and demonstration. New subscriber💯
I love these videos. I make microfilms on my channel and don't have a camera or computer. So these help a lot.
How do u life
I really love the way the new film riot looks. Super clean 😎
Thank you for this!
Thankyou I will keep all of this in mind 😊
Thanks for this insight on some good apps
Hello! Been your fan since 2016 from Uzbekistan 🔥🔥🔥👍!!! You guys are the BEST!!!
Thank you!
That was super helpful!
Thanks a lot! I only shoot to an iPhone. Really helpful
This is insane 🤯
Thanks for reminding me about SHOT DESIGNER ! Now, that's a load off my mind - and cast know what they will do, move etc. (!)
very very helpful tips!
The episode I didn't know I needed.
Need a version with apps designed primarily for Android. Not necessarily exclusive to, but not apps designed for iOS which are then poorly ported to Android.
Blender (it’s free)
@@BadEconomyOfficial But not what this person was looking for
Otherwise this would be portrayed as Kissing apple's ass !
Thanks man!
I so appreciate when youtubers have a timestamp for when the video actually starts
Have you tried mounting an iPhone to the top of a camera rig to use the CamTrack AR app to collect motion data? Curious how close or unclose that would be to use that data?
I shot a short this summer, and I am using my smartphone for insert shots.
I literally ordered an iPad Air for filmmaking pre prod + prod yesterday so this couldn’t come at a better timing
Great video definitely gave me some useful ideas for my iPhone however envato you’re showing stuff for after affects and adobe premiere pro this isn’t available on iOS tablets at the moment most I would say 90% of envato stock again you can’t use on an iPhone or iPad at the moment…
We use Envato Elements daily in the office, it's great... did you get your subscribe glitch animation/lower third thingy from there?
Perfect video
Hi,
Does Artemis Pro needs accessorys or it can work without it? Also does it improve picture qulity?
Woop woop 🙌
I'm a simple man. I see that Film Riot uploaded a video and automatically like it
Nice
amazing
What was the name of app number 1? Didn’t catch it. Do you recommend any storyboarding apps? I can vouch for Final Draft mobile - wrote a feature script on it, it’s very intuitive, syncs across devices, you can export to pdf etc.
Whens the next film competition?
I remember that one time when the winner won a red scarlet
I just shot a Horror Short film all on an iPhone and it’s crazy how much filmmakers can do nowadays with just a phone!
0:38 That looks like an ND too. These things are massively helpful, but Im not sure if you actually used it or if it's all post.
Comparison images/videos would have been cool from Raw to Post. But then again, I dont think this video was about the details on how you achieved the look
Nice video, I think it would be interesting (if possible) a second version but with apps for Android
That would be good.
I agree with this one. Just got the xperia 1 III and it has some really good built in stuff with their cinema pro but would love to see if there is something more out there to use.
Is there a code for Envato Elements? The link seems to go to the site, but it’s still full price. Thank you
gatling gun's tracer bullet tutorial please.❤
With camtrackar I don’t have lidar but can I still with just phone create 3D worlds using green screen and do you have a demo how to
Nice video
What is most common? Co writing or co directing?
🔥🔥🔥
It's not a Mobile App but I thought this is an awesome program for filmmaking it's called Backlot. I would like to hear your thoughts are on it as well.
And please tell us What apps we should use in android??
I would love to see an updated version of this. Updates, news apps, ect.
Do some for android please!
Best 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥
Can you do a similar video for android devices?
This guys are awesome I being watching them since they used to build shit with pvc pipes =) . I kinda wanna write a new intro song for the channel.
That does not look like the Blackmagic control app for the iPad - What app is that?
Please next video 'tornado effect' (in after effect)
you should do the sharingun from Naruto and the renagun please I need it for a sketch I'm making pls all the tutorial's I see are cap

My boi!!!!
What app tho I wanna make a CZcams vid on playing games
The first to comment 🔥🔥🔥
Who else is watching this on an Android?
not me
🙏🏾
Nice! If only I had an Iphone LMAO
Are these on android as well??? 🤔
I used my phone to shoot a short comedy with my friends lol
Michael Myers Vs Blue Thunder? That looks really good. I'd be surprised to know that was shoot on a phone.
@@BudgetFilmmaking thank you! :)
@@rocknrollbaby8052 Quite welcome. I'll check it out come September.
@@rocknrollbaby8052 Where are you based?

BRUNO!!!!
Variant making a cameo. Lol
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What are Android Guys gonna do ??
What about Android ?
how about android
Nothing for Android?
hello film riot!
Hello corn dog gamer 55!
Can we get an Artemis pro tutorial/video please???? Lol
Nearly first
So close!
I think the best free editing app on iPhone is KineMaster
@@NostalgiNorden well I don’t have a laptop what can run a proper software
In Australia, the only people who use Apple products are 12 year old girls and old people unfamiliar with / afraid of technology. Could you please do one of these with naught but Android products to cater for your viewers in the rest of the world?
Guess I'm not that good of a filmmaker as MCU to me means Marvel Cinematic Universe and not medium close-up 🙄 Just a thought while looking at you using Shot Lister
Все эти приложения дают вам ощущение, что вы крутой кинематографист
Но фишка в том, что реально крутые кинематографисты как-то работают без этого мусора
Why are all the scenes so dark? Can barely see anything.
why always iPhone not Android ?!
I mean most of ppl are using androids not iphones..
Android??????
Filmic Pro is now at $4.99 PER WEEK!! LOL!
_cries in Android_
put subtitles in spanish⚡
Where is the android army
5-15. years and you won't need computers for editing shot footage.
20-30 years and you won't need cameras for shooting said footage
First?
I believe so
@@FilmCrowStudios I also believe so.
I gave up Apple years ago after many issues with the company. I'm not saying the hardware or software is bad but I don't like their corporate actions. They screwed over one company I was working for. When I switched from Windows, which was total crap at that time and Apple updated their OS based on Unix, I used Final Cut Pro, which was great. But they stalled the development of it at version 7 for a long time. I finally switched back to Windows with Adobe. Another thing I do not like about Apple is I don't want to live in a walled garden. I built my first CP/M computer with my own hands before Apple was a company. I want the freedom to develop my own software and/or use open source. If Windows gets too uppity I'll switch to Linux and still be able to use the same software I use now; Davinci Resolve and may open source programs. I admit I do carry a grudge about Apple and maybe it will get in my way. That's on me.
So I won't vote for Trump and I won't buy Apple products. Go figure.
Thanks for a great channel. I love what you're doing. I don't hold your use of Apple against you but, when you can, check out the film-making stuff for the rest of us.
This why Apple is better!
Every app is shit. No matter what app you get for your phones your films will look crap unless it’s the latest ones
Watch the episode before commenting. :)
@@filmriot I have, if you want anything remotely good but for cheap you either have to pay or crack it.
I appreciate your guys videos though
@@RakibMfilms The majority of the apps we show in this episode are used in major film production by amazing filmmakers. All of the apps are either cheap or free. Not everything is for everyone, but these are all very useful apps for film production.
It depends on the filmmaker tbh. If you use the right techniques/lighting/positioning you can get amazing shots.
Agreed. Shoot with the new iPhones is definitely doable. Features have been shot on it and some commercials that look great.
Why always Apple? I cant stand Apple.
