All 8 videos we're super helpful, passed my test 1st time @ the Poole DVSA today.. A big thank you to Patrick, I watched all of the Pool videos over the duration of a week or so & this helped me massively - a must watch for anyone taking the test.
@@Patrick_cb Thanks Patrick, yes I can def recommend anyone these video's, appreciate your time & efforts in order to help me reach my pass today. kind regards
Yaaay! I passed my driving test at first attempt (3 minor faults). I certainly learnt from the best! Thanks Patrick for your time & dedication in getting me prepared. I'll gladly recommend your lessons and videos anytime.
Thank you for uploading! I’m learning to drive at the moment and have my test next month! This really helps knowing the variety of different routes that I could be given so I can go on them during private practice!
Hi Patrick, I'm happy to thank you for all your videos which helped me to crack the driving test in the first attempt itself in manual transmission, with Poole test center. I had been watching your videos and practicing prior to my test which happened on last Friday....I am pretty sure that your videos will help many like me in future too... Thank you once again.
I have passed my test today. I have watched all your test routes videos which really helped me, though. Thanks for sharing all these informative Videos. Keep it up 👍
I am a PDI and although I have lived most of my life in Bournemouth I am definitely less familiar with the Poole area, so I just wanted to say a huge thank you for sharing this route info as it will help not only help my learners but also myself! I am studying and practicing hard, doing regular recce's and plan to 'hang around' the TC soon to get a feel for it. Many thanks again :)
Hi Patrick.. Just wanted to say u thanks for the work u have done for the learners, thanks to my instructor but your videos also helped me pass my driving test today 30 mar 23 in 1st attempt with 4 minors
Wow! This is the Route I used on my practical test and I failed on the George Roundabout Dolphin Centre. I'm not good with keeping in my line. Hopefully this is gonna help on my next test. Thank you much...

Patrick! Thanks so much for your videos mate! You're the best! I just gpt one question, would you say, in your experience that this first test route(#1) its the most common one on the tests? I know that can vary depending on the examiners...
You're most welcome Christopher. This is a popular test route, but it's hard to say which one really you'll get on your test ( bear in mind that you might not drive exactly they way I've recorded the routes ) Try to practice the ringwood road double mini roundabouts and routes that pass from those roundabouts.
Hi Patrick, at the Holes bay roundabout the 1st exit is straight ahead. So would a left indicator on approch be necessary ? I notice you did indicate on your approach. Thanks in advance for the clarification
Hi . At holes bay roundabout the first exit is on the left ( to the petrol station ⛽️) second exit is straight towards Bournemouth and 3rd exit on the Right towards town centre and Channel ferry .
@@Patrick_cb sorry if i am confused but would you please help me understand on 13.28 as you mentioned roubdabout 1st exit ahead, how should we indicate as we approach the roundabout? I didnt notice any left exit to petrol station. Thanks for your great help
@@amitm181 sorry I miss understood you . I thought your question was about the next roundabout ( which is also holes bay n ) At 13:28 you are going straight. As it is the first exit , you need to indicate left . For 1th exits always we indicate left , it doesn't matter if its on your left side or straight.
When you enter the roundabout ( if you go right ) towards the channel ferry , you will have two options 1th : once you enter the roundabout you'll see both lanes are going to 3rd exit, you can choose either lane. Just make sure either you pick the right lane , you'll need to exit on the right lane and somewhere before the bridge switch back to the left lane Or you can choose the slow lane after entering the roundabout, and exit on the slow lane
Hello, thank you for the video. My test is this Thursday, does the examiner make you aware of national speed changes ? Because I always forget specially if it’s just before around abouts.
When you turn left at holes bay north roundabout there is a national speed limit sign ( on this video the sign has fallen by the storm ) . If you drive there now , you will see the national speed limit again . Hope that answers your question. Please feel free to ask , if you have more questions
But isnt it too short? I was thinking they expect you to drive for an hour or so. Or there are another parts beside tell-me show-me and driving on the road itself?
You will drive around 35 to 40 minutes . During your test you'll be asked to do few stops and move offs and manouver , as I'm not stopping and moving off a lot and I skiped the manouvers, therefore these clips are shorter than actual test
I am a very nervous driver, I am stuck in this mental block and can't see myself passing the test and don't know what to do. Any advice you have to overcome anxiety ? Thank you
If you have practiced enough and know the test routes , just tell yourself that you deserve a licence . Never judge yourself during the test , don't think you failed if you do something wrong (you will be wrong, most likely ) Do your best until you return back to the test centre !!!! By the way , keep smiling during the test !!! Good luck
