Most likely, a few of these routes will be used for ADI part 2 test too .

If you have practiced enough and know your test routes , you should be fine . Just don't think about failing during the test , let the examiner judge your driving. If you do a fault, try not to think about it and one final advice, try to do a commentary drive ( tell yourself what you need to do " let's say when you approach a roundabout "

Hi Patrick! Thanks again, I got another question sir, does the examiner take his own GPS app or phone? If so, am I able to see at it while I'm driving, do I need to provide a phone holder or something like that? I mean, to know where I'm going or when exactly to turn.... Thanks for your great videos
Hi Christopher. The examiners have their own GPS and will set the destination themselves. You'll just follow the Sat nav once it starts to navigate
Hi, i have my adi 2 test coming. Your videos have been very helpful. Some roads I don’t see speed limit signs. Do I drive on defensive. Are most residential areas 20mph? Street lights road 30mph unless I see signs. I get a bit confused as most streets in south Wales are 20 mph. Thank you
Hi . Residential areas are 30 mph unless stated otherwise, like near schools, which you should see 20 miles sings or road humps .

Patrick! Thanks so much for your videos mate! You're the best! I just gpt one question, would you say, in your experience that this first test route(#1) its the most common one on the tests? I know that can vary depending on the examiners...
You're most welcome Christopher. This is a popular test route, but it's hard to say which one really you'll get on your test ( bear in mind that you might not drive exactly they way I've recorded the routes ) Try to practice the ringwood road double mini roundabouts and routes that pass from those roundabouts.

If you have practiced enough and know the test routes , just tell yourself that you deserve a licence . Never judge yourself during the test , don't think you failed if you do something wrong (you will be wrong, most likely ) Do your best until you return back to the test centre !!!! By the way , keep smiling during the test !!! Good luck

I live just up the road from here. I've used those roundabouts many thousands of times, in all directions.

Could you please explain why is in1:29 you indicate right although the roundabout picture shows that the third exit is straight and the road marked arrow is straight as well
That roundabout ,( the mannings heath) is a bit tricky. If you pay attention to the Shap of the roundabout sign , at the last moment when you arrive to the roundabout, the 3rd exit is totally on your right side . You can choose middle lane and right lane to go to the 2nd exit ( poole which , technicallyis striaght ) , but to go to the 3rd exit ( which is right ) The roundabout sign is a bit confusing, and I've seen some accidents at that roundabout because of that !

I am a PDI and although I have lived most of my life in Bournemouth I am definitely less familiar with the Poole area, so I just wanted to say a huge thank you for sharing this route info as it will help not only help my learners but also myself! I am studying and practicing hard, doing regular recce's and plan to 'hang around' the TC soon to get a feel for it. Many thanks again :)

Hi Patrick at the fleets bridge roundabout where you take the 4th exit. Do you not need to signal left when you go past the 3rd?
Hi Charlie. Because it's a traffic lights controlled roundabout, signalling is optional .

That's a parking space, and it's very common to ask you to stop there and move off again

At 10:50 ( second roundabout) , we are taking the 1th exit straight. Its necessary to signal left when you take any first exit

When you turn left at holes bay north roundabout there is a national speed limit sign ( on this video the sign has fallen by the storm ) . If you drive there now , you will see the national speed limit again . Hope that answers your question. Please feel free to ask , if you have more questions

I passed today at first attempt at Poole DVSA. A big thanks to Patricks and my instructor John Butt from Flying Colours. As soon as I got the test date (which was 7 days before the test) I started watching CZcams videos about driving test in the uk. So, for test routes, this channel helped me a lot. Poole is quite far from my place so, I didn't have much chance to go and practise there so, the only thing I could do was watching these videos. Believe me, I have been watching the test routes almost all day for the whole week, one after another, have watched each video more than 7 times if not 10. Then, I got a chance one day before the test so I went to Poole and practised, and you know what? I am really familiar with the routes! Even if I was like I don't remember around here, after driving for like 30 seconds, I was like "Now I remember, I know this lane, the speed limit is --mph here, this will lead me to ---" like that. (In order to remember the speed limit, I needed to pause, backward, zoom these videos a lot of times). When you are in the test, there is quite a chance you lost track of the signs and speed limits, so I memorized as much information as i could from these videos. And on the test day (today) I got a really challenging examiner who is quite silent, the only words he said which was not related the test was "how are you?" as far as I can remember. When driving, because of low visibility due to the heavy rain, I was fast on approaching a roundabout on a dual carriage way, but I could handle the situation well, and he didn't even mark it down. So, after all, I passed at first attempt. A banana before the test also helped me calm down I guess 😅. Hope y'all who are taking the test soon PASS without difficulty !

It’s a shame not to have a 70 mph sign when it starts the motorway
They show the national speed limit sign . If you are on a motor way and you don't see any speed sign such as 40 or 50 etc .. you can assume its 70 MPH

I have seen Lake Urmia a few times through the windows of aircraft on the way between the UK and India. It is really good to see the city and its surrounding country areas from ground level.
I have a question and really hope you can answer before Wednesday! There are 2 double roundabouts in Poole on both with ultimate rights. In one of your videos you didn’t indicate right until you reached the second roundabout, in this one you indicated and kept it on from the first roundabout. Is this because one has 2 lanes at the first and the other has 3 lanes - could you clarify please? I love your videos thank you
To be honest, as the roundabouts ( both in upton and ringwood road ) are so close to each other , you can signal right from the first roundabout. You shouldn't worry about signal so much , the lost important things are to pick the correct lanes on double roundabouts and pay attention to your priorities

Yes, I have my MG4 connected to my solar inverter on the second AC input. It powers the house loads and any spare goes into my solar batteries. The MG4 is better suited to this task than the ZS as I can get 30amps from the MG4 but only 13amps from the ZS.
@@Mucklepie awesome, thanks for the detailed information. I believe this setup to be a game changer as the car can top-up the home batteries when needed and also store excess energy when full. Out of interest do you know what the 13amp and 30amp equate to in Watts/ kWh?
