According to Wikipedia, Pecan Pie was first created probably around 1930 (thanks to Karo Syrup) but grew in popularity in the 1940's and 50's. German Chocolate Cake is from 1957. Two great desserts regardless of the decade

Has to be one of your best videos yet! All the cakes looked really good and you did a great job describing each one! Really love good food videos like this one, hope to see more like it soon. Would be nice to see a video on cereals from the past. All the desserts looked good, pecan pie is my favorite followed closely by Red Velvet Cake.
