Clark doesn’t get enough credit. If I walk in to a shop doing any sort of work on my car and don’t see a gentleman that bears a striking resemblance to Clark I don’t trust the place.
If your tuner isn't wearing NB 409 sneakers, their skills are highly suspect.
You know, the only thing better than Clark pretending not to like the camera would be Clark pretending he didn’t like seeing that sweet sweet skullet on a t-shirt. Hey @stevemorrisracing WE NEED SOME CLARK MERCH!!!
@@johnfischer2034 He's got that "House payments in the front, bud light in the back" cut, and he frickin rocks it better than pretty much anyone I've seen😅
Clarks an absolute stand up guy. I had the privilege of speaking to him a couple times at different events.
Add some magnets to the sides of the trailer to hold the quarter panels!
The folks at bullseye turbos know customer service. They don’t care who’s turbo it is they will fix it for a good customer. Same as you would help out anyone with an engine problem no matter who put the thing together last time.
*whose, not "who's". Who's=Who is. You literally wrote, "They don't care who is turbo...🤦♂
I found the grammar Nazi.
I apologise for the inconvenience.
@@mongreluc1588 🤣😭
@@mongreluc1588
... c'mon, ... it's "my apologies"
;)
Need to put an old school door ash tray in the rear door to hold the fittings.
This has my vote.
Lol
Came here for that, but the red tubes are a more visible “Dewey-approved” alternative.
The SM logo would look better on a POCKET. 😉
I second the motion. Awesome idea
The wagon without a doubt is one of the coolest race cars I've ever seen.
The wagon is my all time favorite drag car. I honestly have it number one on my list with a couple of the npk cars in my top 5
100%
Steve I just love the fact that you post everything. No huge ego, just a great shop with good people and great work being done.
Camera man struck a nerve with the 6 second wagon comment, that look was like your lucky theres a camera 😂
Cool to see the under carriage of the wagon! Nice & learning!
Gonna be a big celebration when the wagon busts it’s first 5 second pass.
SUB 5! 4.67 I believe it was with some spin in the 1/8th on his second run. First run shook the tires pretty hard.
Steve is referring to 5sec 1/4 mile time, not 1/8 mile
Clark doesn't like the spotlight but he is hella cool and you know damn well his vibe makes everyone surrounding him feel uplifting and solid. Just a good ass friend. Can't beat that.
Great work Steve good luck with your passes this week end. Looking forward to seeing the wagon back out on the strip.
Steve, put red marks or triangles pointing to the hidden dzus fasteners so when you are hot and tired and dark light at the track you will know where they are. Foam pipe insulation will make good insulation for back door panels when off the car. God bless you all.
Or pool noodles.
I was going to suggest those glow in the dark stickers.
I Want to see this car in the 5 seconds quarter this summer so bad
It's time for some success after all the hard work. Good luck Steve.
We will see that.
That is pretty doubtful given the weight of the car.
@@danmyers9372 I wonder what it weighs now but I can see the car in the 6s.
1. Watching the removable quarter panel come to life is awesome..
2. Being able to make wheel adapters (out of billet so they're way better than the ones you'd buy) is awesome lol you're freakin killing it.
🎉🎉 BULLSEYE TURBO SHOUTOUT FOR THE HELP YOU ROCK🎉🎉
Damn, I love that wagon. One of the coolest dragsters extant. So the wagon got my follow and your tech stuff has kept me around. Never miss an episode. Hi to the whole team of good people at SME. Thanks.
Steve,Clark, and Dewey, y'all rock! Peace
One part of our country that hasn't gone banana Republic is the motor head community. Now will a Chevy guy like working on a Ford? No, but they will help someone out that needs help, hell yeah brother. Great job Bullseye Power!
Banana republic? Not familiar...
I hope he gets a custom bag type thing made to keep those panels in at the track.
Especially in a windy day, those rear quarters will go airborne.
Could also do something with the roof rack for temporary storage, that might be an option
Na you take them off and lean against the trailer. Then when you walk in and out of the trailer, you rub the paint off the trailer and body panel.
@@daleolson3506 most realistic scenario tbh 😆
@@L1Z1O OH NO! He was super careful taking the stuff off and putting the parts GENTLY in the grass he was parked by while working on the car. He will need something eventually when he's somewhere that is all pavement.
The rear tires look so close together but they are just reallyreally wide. Respect to Bullseye Turbo!
The car looks so nice!!! Underneath included.
Bill Devine at Bulls eye is a great guy.
It might be very wise to consistently and often check for cracks in the tubes and suspension...that much torque and weight is setting a new precedence for testing thier strength.
I do wish the rear bumper was whole but im complaining about nothing. You, sir, have the coolest race car on the drag strip. All of these 5 second wagons bring the heat. I hope you race cleetus when his cars done it would be a beautiful sight.
Absolutely, Cleetus is having a real 5 second car built.
Of course, Steve Morris may want to work on his reaction time with Alex Taylor before racing Cleetus.
Actually, Alex Taylor is pretty darn good...
Wagon is looking really good, whipping out those hub adapters was slick. Should be interesting to see how well those quarter glass vent windows hold up to 200+ miles an hour.
Always nice to see Dewey the inspector checking the work…
Definitely one of the coolest Promods EVER!
A friend of mine owns Advanced Chassis in Antwerp Ohio. They just came out with the most awesome wishbone that has bearings in it! Aloa nice racecar push bar for Smart Cars plus alot of other cool stuff. They have a website and CZcams channel. Thanks for the great videos.
The wagon is bad ass ... can't wait ....
It's perfect ... time to put it in the museum Steve ...
this latest version looks so much better looking than the precrash version. The paint job is amazingly well done.
Let’s go! I am watching this while flying over Anchorage Alaska on my way to Tokyo! Can’t miss an episode!
Can’t wait to see that wagon running again!!
Such a cool car!!
Clark is going to have to slow his car down, he's blowing his hair thin. 😂🤣
He's driving his slow 4th gen this weekend, so he's got it covered....errr uncovered if you're talking about the top of his head.
@@FastSS02 😂🤣
Regain should sponsor Clark 😅😊
@@TheScottib1 too funny 😂🤣
Thanks for the update! Look forward to the next clip. Car came together NICE!
When you get a Steve morris video to kick off my day means it’s gonna be a good day
Those crocodile wipes are awesome!!
The WAGON sounds like a big popcorn popper now! Sumptin is up wit THAT! Usually sounds like a ROCK CRUSHER!
22:00 you need to machine a threaded hole in the center and put a jacking bolt in the adapter to help you remove it.
I love your front to back, starting at the back.
Steve, I want to say I absolutely appreciate how meticulous you are with your car. I am the same way.
Nice to hear at the beginning of the video the the machines making good sounding cuts for a change.
Love being along to learn. Thanks Steve&crew
That’s a badass wagon Steve came out awesome once again after crash.
I can’t wait to see the wagon go down the track again!!
Thank you bullseye!
I wish everyone would learn from you and your family how to be grounded, perfect example of great people left in this world !! Steve , you have done a wonderful job of passing on family tradition to you son , morals , and 10 to 1 many more life necessities we don't get to see. Your a awesome DUDE, love your videos, can't say enough about the wagon! STAY SAFE, GO FAST AND KICK BUTT !!!
"Or for your 6 second wagon."
Nate definitely tested Steve's patience right there! 😂😂😂
Loving the new paint.
So beautiful great to have it back and looking all beautiful. Beat wishes keeping rocking
Holy crap she looks amazing! It was so sad to see her hit the wall. I'm glad you got her all fixed up again!
Looks like you need captive quarter turn screws like they have on aircraft panels for those rear quarter panels/fenders.
He has them on the hood and rear hatch. I think he had said he ordered the wrong type when he was building the quarters. The rear door ones won't work because of the tight fitment and the captive style rivet to the panel. He can only use the through panel style there. I think the inside ones would have worked with the captive style though.
Congratulations getting her ready to rock and roll!
Those rear wing windows really complete that wagon!!
I just hope they don’t go flying out the first time the car goes into tire shake.
That container is Dewey approved!
There’s Clark!
Love your dog man
Just cool & congratulations on your 1st race back.
The door handle color is much better!! Glad you didn't leave them like they were!
So funny how excited Steve is and it is understandable. Sucker looks the best it ever has and the rear quarter panel modification is going to make this tons easier and fast. 😊
A piano hinge across the top and a gas shock to hold the quarter panels up would be neat.
Lol
Or how the storage bays on the bottom of a bus pull out then slide up
I feel like that would just be something for someone to run into. This coming from someone that as a kid didnt pay attention to anything and walked right across a 69 deck lid of a fellers that we used to race with 🤦♂️ other "dumbasses" come into play at the dragstrip. Specialy when your "famous" like steve
I had suggested that at least a year ago, I think it would work great.
This channel is so awesome, straight up car content… no BS… love it
Fascinating look underneath.. that containment pan.. did i see a hole in that ?
Looking forward to tomorrow, and no worries about missing the two fasteners... Anybody could do it.
It was interesting to see the LVDT sensor on the front suspension. It's great to get data. It's harder to understand by just watching at the track and on video. Those sudden movements are difficult to catch with the eye. Smooth is fast. Herky jerkey, not so much.
You will figure it out.
You cradle the tire between your legs and lift it right up. It's especially useful with cars that use lug bolts instead of studs and nuts.
Love your sense of humor
Kudos to Bullseye for taking care of you🎉
You need a Dewey cam , he could have done the under car shots for free 😅
Really cool stuff. I hate that I was 1 ft away from you in the car at Sick 2023 and didn't get to say good-luck or anything, but you and Tom were talking at the time. I hope to get to an event where you're running and fist bump. You're the second best guy on youtube, and that is meant with full-on respect.
Dewey is the star of the show!! 😂😂
That car definitely one of a kind right there
Bullseye Turbo sounds like a great place to deal with, not ever their turbo and still fixed it? Moneys money and that type of service deserves to be supported
You have a lot to be proud of Steve. That's an amazing car you built and keep improving. Now go get that 5.
13:15 It would be cool if you could hinge the rear quarter panels with gas shocks so they lift up just like the rear tailgate glass
Drove through the edmore inn last night on my way home from Hardy. Some super nice cars there. Wish I could come see you guys run today.
love the picture of Alex in the little trailor..!..histerical...lololololol...!..hope all goes well & she runs stright & fast...!.&...stops..!
Looks good. Those door
Mirrors do make a difference
Need to put a metal strip to put the removed fasteners in. That way you can look and verify you have all of them removed and they won’t get lost.
Great episode. Good luck with the event
Thanks for sharing !
Car is looking awesome!!!
Is that road wheel going to rub on bumps?
Use a long bar as leverage when putting on those wheels. It’ll save you back
Good luck! Hope to see you at Great lakes dragaway!
im sorry ...but that is the best skullet i have ever seen !!!
Steve, would you consider putting a horn from an old Volkswagen Beatle? I think it would bring smiles and laughter 😂😂
Maybe
Hey Steve i would try a setup with strong magnets and just stick em to the side of trailer or a panel of metal on wheels. Obviously i wouldn't trust magnets to hold the fenders on the car, i know Zeus fasteners can be a pain sometimes and if u don't have the tool handy it sucks. Anyways bud just a thought and magnets are always fun plus easy.
The aircraft ones stay in place. So you don’t need a spifey little pocket.
Steve, cool job on the removable rear quarters...but that beautiful paint job is just asking to get scratched in the process. Definitely need some safety cables on them to stop them falling off when in a hurry or the wind joining in😮....
Then a safe place to store them when not on the car...
Good luck for the next few days & testing all the modifications👍🇬🇧.
The paint looks way better.
Good video Steve got to laugh a little today which is good once in awhile. Your car looks great. Thank you and your wife for the videos.
The Wagon is looking beautiful. Good luck at the track.
🎉🎉 BEST OF LUCK AT THE RACES 🎉🎉
Sorry to see all the struggle for you SM team. Hope it works out soon for you folks
It’s a good day! Clark and Dewey in the same video!!
I would definitely make a permanent mounted container on each side for fasteners
Team Morris ... let's go ...😂
It might be worthwhile to paint/anodize the zeus fasteners some sort of bright color (rather than black) to make them "pop" to ease in uninstall/reinstall. Thats an old trick for hood pop latches to make them stand out, paint the underside of the latch as a visual queue to easily see when they are sticking up (unlatched).
Thanks for Sharing 👍👍✌
Install hollowed out armrests on the rear doors to store the dzus fasteners. Make sure you have a few spares, possibly locked in place inside the armrests for loss/damage during a drag -n- drive event.
You need triangle sticker on the inside where the fasteners are "Remove before wheel" :D
Steve if you will get your big 3 foot long pry bar and roll the tire up on it you can use the pry bar to lift the tire onto the hub . Much easier way to lift big tires and get them on. Also a little yellow mark or something like that inside where the Dzus fasteners are inside the back of the car will make them easier to hit in low light. Good luck and be safe. W
It’d be a good idea to run the wastegate dump tubes out where the bull horns exit…
Rather than pointing towards each rear tire… 🤔👍🏻
Never know what crap may shoot out of those during a failure of any kind…
5x5 is full size 2x4 gm trucks… 👍🏻
5x5 is pre 98 full size 2wd trucks as well as the original bolt pattern on these B bodies!
@@FastSS02 yes. I knew there was a car that had the same pattern. Due to people putting the caprice ss wheels on trucks…
It’s so cool to see the rear suspension separate on the dyno.
It’s also crazy how small the 37s look under the fenders of a big tire car. I run 37s on my Jeep 😂
The door handle trim color matches great. I love the wood grain. I had a 1989 Dodge Caravan with the same color wood trim. I loved it and my kids hated it. They really hated driving it to school in 2010 and later. It was always a WI vehicle so it was pretty rusty. 😁 PS. It was better than ridding in the school bus.
