    The smooth boost is so cool to experience. It took a stockish feel to nasty on the road, to full dial at hold on to your….. too late! Did this so it’s tame enough to track this car, and also turn it all the way up to have fun at the 1/4 mile also. Cruise with the top down, race it hard at a mid power range, and run hard at the strip. I have one car that does everything I want performance and street wise. LOVE IT. Thanks Andrew. This should be a must for anyone. Hell, my wife will still drive it now. If it was nearly 1k rwhp all the time, no way.

    Glad the videos are more routine again. Also, thanks for my CSP headers, they're amazing!

    Damn awesome product!!!! When you let someone borrow your car dial it down and don’t tell them where the knob is!

    I just installed one on my 18 SS and it helps with smoothing out throttle transitions. My only complaint is that it is not adjustable on the input side. Meaning you can’t adjust the point where it closes based on accelerator position. It also allows you to run part throttle vvt for better mileage which is a nice bonus.

    Maggie dont need this. It has the NOS jet in the hose that feeds the bypass to smooth out the tip in boost spike. This is really needed with whipples. But for limiting boost, thats cool but who wants to do that...LOL???

      It’s not so much how fast the boost tip in is it’s more about going into boost early because of manifold vacuum. It’s gives you more pedal range before going into boost making part throttle smoother and allowing vvt to be enabled for better mileage, on the SS at least.

    Got to find a way to ramp in the boost like turbo cars.

    I have a C7 Z06 and my question is it anyway to program or tune in a Valet mode like other cars have? One that significantly reduces power on a quick setting. Not something thats just locks the glovebox and screen? Thanks for your time and keep up the great innovative work!

    So boost by gear, like a turbo to help traction?

  • @calawaydp
    @calawaydp Před měsícem

    can a boost by gear type setup be accomplished with this? im assuming not on a factory pcm, but what about a holley or similiar? any way those stand alones could modulate the controller and essentially give the car diffrent boost levels based on gear. B/C that would be a game changer for a PD blower car on the street.

    Thank you for this video, I've been waiting on an information video on smooth boost as I bought a car with it already on, but mine does not have a "boost knob" how does it work? It has THP plates and controller i assume it's controller through it?

    Question! I notice Smoothboost doesn't have a product for the LSA/LS9 style blowers. Do you have any insider knowledge about any 5ggg intentions to support those superchargers? It's exactly what I've been looking for.

    Wouldn't be tunable as in traction control ? And would it work on a Hellcat Redeye?

    • @nicholasleisinger425
      @nicholasleisinger425 Před 2 měsíci

      Yes it will work for that car. What you can do is turn it up during the pull and make more power after launch when grip is better…

    The Walmart floor drying fan that you are using as a means to move air through the radiator is just comical!!!! Is that what you use to cool 1000+ hp cars?? Yeah, that's just comical!!!
