Note: the dark horse has no deed! If your honor is low enough, you will get the dark horse every time you whistle. If your honor starts going up, this horse will disappear until your honor gets lower again.

My personal favorite is the white Hungarian Half-bred that you can tame in Mexico. Or of course the war horse.
i just want to add. the Kentucky Saddler is NOT difficult to find whatsoever in my opinion. In fact, I have come across 10 wild K.Saddlers just running around, on different occasions. Seriously. That golden horse is very common. I see them all over the place when I'm running from point A to point B. They are most concentrated around Armadillo. I always spot them on my way back to Armadillo. jorge's Gap, Two Crows, Critchleys ranch. best places to spot them. So if your golden horse dies, don't panic. Just cruise around the Armadillo area and you WILL find it.
In my game they are impossible to find, and if it dies you just need a deed, you don’t need to find them again
Buell kinda looks like the Kentucky saddler from Rdr1.
My opinion about the Hungarian Half-bred is that its good for jack, i think the white coat matches jack’s outfit so i like to use him while in epilogue, but my personal fav is the OG War Horse too

I had the game on Xbox a few years ago, my favorite was the War Horse, I believe it was a dlc horse. I called him Remington, he was my go horse till the end.

According to online sources, you cannot find the Kentucky Sadler in the wild. The golden horses you see in the wild are actually a 2 star horse called the Highland Chestnut which looks very similar to the Kentucky Sadler but has a two toned mane and tail. Kentucky Sadler can only be bought from a store or acquired from Bonnie at the end of her mission.
Sorry this is in fact wrong. I’ve seen multiple Kentucky Sadlers in the wild around Hennigans Stead. Also they appear very frequently at Manzanita Post either wild or mostly being rid by npcs which you can just steal 😁. Article I originally read must have been very old.

You can get a horse looking like the warhorse in rdr1 in rdr2. it's a flaxen chestnut Hungarian half-bred.

hi, i might have a problem. as soon as i started playing i used the first horse the game gave me, which appears to be your number one. but one day i whistled and the black horse with white face appeared instead, even if i have high honour (and never got it any lower) and always kept the first horse. this horse, which according to you is cool, is slow as f*ck compared to my first horse, but everytime i whistle he comes and i have to use the deed to call my real horse, which doesn't allow me to get the playstation trophy for keeping the same horse alive for 20 missions straight. is there any way i can get rid of that stupid slow horse?
So it depends what honor you have, you need to be higher than road agent. I had the same issue but when my honor went up it stopped. Unfortunately since the horse already came to you, you cannot get the achievement and you are honestly fucked(achievement wise) but just get you’re honor higher and the horse will leave
If you have playstation press the touchpad & from consumables you can find the card for war horse press X on it and then whistle
He will come to you

Yes If you get a new horse on the wild remember to put it in the town where you can park It, if you buy the deed then yes you can keep it forever. If it dies just call it with the deed and it will come to you

American standardbread is considered the fasted horse in the game! In the war horse trailer I’m pretty sure it says he’s stronger and faster than any, war horse is probably the second fastest
Tbh I play this game on my ps3 and I thought war house was an actual house till I found out I have the fastest horse in the game and deadly assian outfit I just started a new game and I found the deadly assian outfit and the war house

Yes it’s available for ps3 but it’s considered the worst version due to the graphics being not so good on ps3, it runs on 640p whole Xbox runs on 720p and Xbox one X runs on 4K I think! All versions are great besides all that

The dark horse is really slow. It's not worth it, in my opinion
It’s a cool looking horse and it’s strong but it’s a two star horse that’s why
@Coma_White_YT it feels slower than the two star horses. Idk why, but it does. And when I have the law on me, it takes forever to escape them, but when I'm on the regular two star horses like the Dutch warmblood, I can escape easily
