  • Crocodile attacks and eats a stingray at night in the Florida Keys!
    Captain Cody was kayaking in the Florida Keys with his nephew Jessie when they see a stingray that gets attacked by what seems like a crocodile. They also see sharks and ballyhoo jumping out of the water, two of ballyhoo jump into the kayak that night.
    We see the stingray before it is attacked in shallow water. It sounds like the snapping of jaws followed by a gator roll or crocodile roll in this case. What looks like the tail of the crocodile can be seen several times.
    Thanks to these creators for letting me use some of their crocodile footage in my video.

      My parents have a house in the Keys. I am not sure if I am going to be in Florida in September or not but I would be happy to give you advice on good fishing and diving locations. What is your email?

    I lived in the Florida Keys, and I did not realize that the American crocodiles live there.

      Yeah, they are not very common but do live in this area.

    I was thinking about moving there, this almost sealed the deal.
    I thought gators and crocs attack and dispatch quickly.

      Sweet! It is a cool place to be. It probably depends on how big the prey is. The crocodiles in Australia sometimes take a while to take down and drown large prey.

    I definitely wouldn’t be in a boat that size at night with crocodiles.

    Mating possibly? The big rays like that are usually females. That was weird stuff. Definitely seemed like it was struggling being dragged away. Could have been just having a fit of joy.

      Interesting thought. I only say one stingray but perhaps it could have been giving birth. Stingrays do give live birth. Strange way to do it if that is the case. ha ha

    Why the kids are there 🤔..no safe..uff

      @CaptainCody7  Před 2 lety

      I just take one kid at a time when kayaking at night and we are in the same kayak. It is safe and they wear a life jacket and PLB. Seering a crocodile is very rare in Florida.
