Thanks for including this great Silverwind song. My wife and i "discovered" Silverwind while we were dating in the 80's. Once We actually got to hear them in concert in the DC/Baltimore metro area. They are Still one of my all tome favorite "early" Christian contemporary groups. They Had a sound similar to ABBA but uniquely their own. Bought a cassette tape album at the concert . I finally transferred it to a CD before the tape got too wornout. "I Know We Can Make It By HIS Spirit" is one of their greatest songs on the album. It still lifts me to hear and "sing along" with it. Thanks again for your efforts to share music you love.
I seen Silverwind in Madison ,Wisc. about 83 or 84 and they did a tribute to Kieth Green shortly after his tragic death in the airplane crash where he and his beautiful child and his manager & others were killed, I believe 6 died in the wreak on takeoff with a full tank of Gas. Silver wind did a touching memorial to Kieth and all he stood for in this concert. A beautiful blend of voices. Where are they now? CJWells

Indeed. When Mr. Banov went back to Eastern Europe to evangelise after the Soviets fell, Silverwind changed staff, and the music suffered.
LOVE THIS GROUP. MY KIDS WERE SINGING THEIR SONGS WHEN THEY WERE 3, BECAUSE WHENEVER I WENT ANYWHERE, I'D ALWAYS PUT ONE OF THEIR CASSETTES IN.

I had all their LPs (or cassettes) back in the day. Silverwind was the closest thing in the Christian market to ABBA/Euro-Pop!
LShackley ....I still have A Song In The Night on vinyl.And yes they sound just like Abba except with a greater message.
I came back to the song today just to hear the Russian influence that Banov brought to the group. So fascinating.
