Pat Boone's gospel music video/interview show, in a 1985 episode featuring videos from Leon Patillo, Randy Stonehill, and Silverwind, and a special interview with Silverwind.
Lovely to see two of the vocal members of Silverwind again! I was born again spiritually during one of their concerts. Amazing. Today, that's 39 years ago.
Thank you for posting this video 1985 i was a teen and recently in a start of a journey of a young pilgrim experiencing God's love and being introduced to great CCM MUSIC.
I saw Silverwind in Lethbridge Alberta Canada in 1983. The concert was in the Exhibition Pavilion where I first received Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 1972 at a Barry Moore crusade at the age of ten. The concert started with Michael Card opening, but he could only do a few songs, as he got sudden news that there was a death in his family. Silverwind then went on dressed in the same cloths as the photo of their second album, and it was so memorable. They had their full band, and they performed the songs pretty much in the order of the first two albums. Georgian even did a bluegrass fiddle solo on his violin. I remember Patty constantly smiled and looked so blissed out during the concert. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit during that concert. I hope and pray that we get those days back again.
You had to stay up late to see the cool stuff on TBN. I remember trying not to fall asleep so I could watch their coolest show, "Fire By Nite"---which was like a Christian SNL
I don't care what anyone says, Pat Boone was cool and hip in any generation. Check him out in the 80s all decked out in his low collar and gold chains! STYLISH!
