It's actually quite the coincidence you should say that - because just the other day, I was looking at a friend Atos pilot's flights (he lives in Washington state), and was thinking to myself : the US has such a plethora of amazing sites, most of them with fantastic XC potential and they are flyable nearly all year, whereas here in Europe, we're basically grounded between November until March - and really REALLY long XC flights are a rarity. I suppose the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill ;-) P.S. I remember the wonderful California sites (Torrey Pines, Lake Elsinore, etc.), and Sheba/Merriam Crater in AZ, not to forget the granddaddy of it all, the Owens valley...
I agree with "grass being greener on the other side" but all the sites you're mentioning are on the West Coast. Here in East Coast, it's a bit different but we have our fun. Usually Mid Dec to Feb is barely any flying but this year we have managed to get some air time. Then we have Shenandoah national park that's where real XC magic happens. I fly in flatlands so I do truck tow :)

The clamp for this: www.camforpro.com/gopro-large-tube-mount/ As for the Atos, us Atos pilots have the luxury (in terms of mounting camera equipment) of dealing with a velcro trailing sail edge, which you can use to mount a GoPro, or, in my case, an Insta360 R2 camera. For that setup, I secure the camera with a very sturdy magnet: www.camforpro.com/flugsau-magnet-halterung-pro/ and then I extend the mount with an IShox extension rod: www.camforpro.com/ishoxs-xtension-neo-l/ which I can put "through" the trailing edge and velcro it shut again. This allows me to capture nice wing-perspective footage, as well as the occasional 360° shot where appropriate. In addition, I now have a speedbar-mounted camera (the Hero7 black whose mount no longer fits on my carbon fibre tail), using this very nice clamp: www.camforpro.com/ishoxs-cobra-mount-pro-swivel-adapter-bundle/ Not cheap, but reliable, efficient and it allows for great pilot perspective shots.

Tell God you admit your a sinner and ask Him to wash you with His blood and receive His Gift of righteousness. Come out of darkness and into light!
it’s your part to receive Jesus to believe upon Him. It says,
“Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”
Don’t think it’s not wrong to sin
-because He loves us.
