    I actually use this in my work van and i works great 👍🏻.
    Occasionally get a false alarm from an oversized loud car exhaust driving by but for the money does the job.
    Only thing I will say is why make a product with a logo with the screw in the bottom if you have to fit it upside 🤷🏻‍♂️ no thought gone into that at all.

    How do you change the sensitivity on the alarm? And also if the pre- warning goes off but not the main alarm, does it reset itself after a few minutes?

    Pain having to turn the gps unit on and off EVERY TIME you move or get in the van .Should all arm/disarm from the fob .

    • @vanolarm5995
      @vanolarm5995  Před rokem

      It's all about overall security. As we know the No1 way to steal a vehicle is first stealing the keys/fob then if we left all functionality via the fob only the thief could easily disarm all the system as a consequence.

      @@twinky666666 Think you may be ignoring the fact that with 7.5k units sold to date no one has actually ever taken a Van protected by a fully active Vanolarm to even attempt to throw them out. As they say, prevention is often better than the cure.

      @@vanolarm5995 I think your ignoring the fact that you stated your system dose not arm ALL the alarms ie tracker unit just in cast they get the keys /fob.
      If they have the keys/fob then your complete system is useless as the tracker will be thrown out the window even if it is independently activated or not was what i stated .Your losing the keys /fob dose not stack up ,all the alarms/tracker should arm from one unit ,what if you lost your phone ?.

    • @vanolarm5995
      @vanolarm5995  Před rokem +1

      @@twinky666666 No, not the case given 7.5k sales and not one vehicle theft from a Van fitted with an active Vanolarm system. Obviously our public video is not the location we recommend for the smart alarm (only available on purchase). Also unlike most trackers Vanolarm is virtually impossible to scan for. Plus the smart alarm will activate on any Van movement and send its alerts so user will be alerted even if key fob stolen. We get it nothings 100% proof yet Vanolarm still hold a phenomenal anti theft record and at our prices?????. Good day.

    but isn't the tracker easy for the thief to get rid of?

    • @vanolarm5995
      @vanolarm5995  Před 3 lety +4

      As it doesn't look like a traditional tracker it is far less likely to be targeted than a conventional tracking unit. Also thief are more likely to target the siren alarm thinking these are the principle alarm units. Finally the alarms main job is to dissuade theft in the 1st place and raise the alarm to the owners via the instant messaging, tracking is the last line of defense
