Your commentary is correct. Pro sports is a business. Nfl, EPl, etc.but there is a generation of americans who are growing to love the world game. Cincinatti. Fc deserves a chance to join Mls. They are a young team, with aspiration. I watched the match between chicago fire and cincinatti fc. Wonderful game. U deserve to be with the best. I just love your fans. Team and i support. U

MLS requirements are hypocritical. explain NYCFC playing at Yankee Stadium. I'll wait...

Miguel Padilla they're partly owned by the Yankees. This was meant to be a temporary venue but the difficulties of building a sports venue within New York City is pretty substantial, hence why it took the Red Bulls 12 years to build theirs only to still end up in New Jersey.

Does Seattle not play in a football specific stadium ? The revolution also New York fc plays at yankee stadium. Those aren't soccer specific venues

The only reason MLS won't allow Nippert is money. MLS are the only people I have heard of who don't like Nippert. All of the fans I have talked to like Nippert. What the difference between paying rent and paying a mortgage? You are way closer to the field at Nippert than most stadiums. I think it is ridiculous to build another sport specific stadium that will sit empty most of the year.

K Kampy I'd be perfectly fine with nippert if we were able to have a grass pitch. But that will probably never happen. Soccer is meant to be played on grass!

K Kampy what's the difference between paying rent and a mortgage? Haha here's hoping your significant other handles your checkbook for you. The difference is you pay to own your home dummy.

3bulletproof16 Really, name calling? You own your own home with the prospect of selling for a profit eventually. That will never happen here. Think GABP and Paul Brown for examples. The taxpayers end up paying for maint and upgrades.

You have never seen a game in europe or south america. Soccer was never meant to be played in usa

Who is this "Dillweed"??? Someone being paid by FCC no doubt. Sounds like he wants to be on the field watching games...Not gonna happen. I can't see!!! Dude they have been playing ball at Nippert for more than a 100 years... You can see. MLS needs FCC more than FCC needs MLS. The field is fine. No tax payer is going to pay for another stadium in this town. It's soccer, be glad it's here... Enjoy it, but in the end it's SOCCER!!!
