If they do make them brushless RTR, it should not be 3S. It should be 2S. And they need to include the full metal diffs and upgraded axles/driveshafts.
for that high of a kv you'd want to stick to 2s.....the hobbywing 16bl30 is a good esc for these groms, that and toss in whatever brushless motor and it'll only cost a bit more than that combo
My 4 year old can't both steer and throttle, her hands are just too small. This is nice because the wheels are covered. I got a similar, much cheaper car like it and put slicks on it. She just drifts it aimlessly around the hard flooring. For her the 25 dollar amazon special works fine.
My 3 year old boy runs the grom awesome, put it down to 50% and it will be perfect. Have run maybe 20 packs at least with both typhon and granite. Only thing broken is internals in the diff. I say go for it, they love it. Drive with them and encourage them while you teach them. 👌🏻

You can't go wrong with a hobbywing in my opinion. That one has good reviews too. Hobbywing have good warranty which is priceless.

i am going to put a 2440 4600kv in mine for 2s speed and will gear it down to a 16 or 17t

the 6100kv is a great fit for 2s only on stock gearing. other wise gear up a few teeth with a brushed motor
