    Canopy looks great. You will learn to love it as I did. Just a little learning curve on the initial trips out to the forest. But having it makes tractor work in the sun much, much more enjoyable. Enjoy and thanks for taking us along.

    Wow Martin, you've been talking about getting a tractor canopy for some time now and behold, the desire is fulfilled. Loved that PTO Connect reached out to you. Their friemdly gesture will meet the needs of both you and them. The canopy was not too difficult to assemble/install. I would have maintained your side LED lights instead of cutting them off. At least you have the front and rear facing LED lights. An excellently executed video, as usual. I'm so happy for you since the timing is perfect. For the hot weather cometh (smile). So please enjoy the canopy and be safe in your actives chores. Things are well here in North Carolina. I just came inside and sat down from several hours of mowing grass on my little Massey GC 1710 and now am enjoying a chicken salad sandwich and a nice tall glass of ice sweet tea (SWAIT TAY that is) There's a slight twang in the enunciation of sweet tea that one picks up from living in our little country town , ha 🙂). Okay my friend, have an exceptional week and keep looking up for He will come.

      Hi Don! Yes, I’m excited to have it and was thrilled that Tractor Add-Ons offered it to me in exchange for the video. It was impossible to keep the side lights as the were mounted, but as I said in the video, they are going back on and I already have the hardware for it. You’ll see this in a future video. Chicken salad! Yum!!! Can’t beat “swait tay” on a hot day! Have a most excellent week, Don! Thanks for watching!

    I like the idea of a canopy Martin. I like your fan also. I sit right out in the sun and bake all day long as it is. Just keeping the sun off of the operator makes a big difference. That fan takes comfort to a whole new level.

    Martin, after watching you install your Bare-Co canopy, I decided that was the one for me. I like the rack that no drilling is required. So I ordered an Orange one for my CK3510 Kioti. I was able to mount all the mounting hardware my self, despite just getting over knee replacement surgery on both knees. Then my son-in-law and grandson helped me set the canopy on top and mount the t brackets. It all went together easily, and looks really good. Thanks for the installation video!

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  Před 2 lety

      Hi Scott! I have no idea, but you can probably find out by contacting Bare-Co. Backing your tractor on the trailer should put a lot less stress on the canopy, so that sounds like a good idea. Thanks for watching!

Luckily the sunlight up here in WA state isn't has harsh as where I grew up in the MS Delta. I have an older Kubota, and a lot of bugs. What I did was mount my light under the forward edge of the roof, to clear trees, protect from rain, etc. And mounted two 4 inch lights on my rear fenders. All the light is aways trim me, lighting what I need, and keeping the bugs just a little farther from me.

    Glad I saved my roof and frame when I sold the golf cart.. A little work, left over scrap steel and apparently I saved a lot of money. Even put LED lights front and rear.. Total cost was whatever the lights cost, otherwise it was free... and I certainly don't consider myself mechanically inclined..
