I dont think you can smash di throws so mango probably wasn't thrown far enough to knockdown
On early % marth fthrow does not knock down at all. So you will be thrown, and after the little amount of hitstun you will be actionable, and if you're close to the ground you will stand up after
both answers are right cause you're talking about different times where mango went to standing. the first time is because the f throw doesn't do enough knockback at that low of percent to knockdown, and then when zain tries to jab reset, he goes to standing because of smash di up

doesnt have anything to do with ECBs, just his hitbox, and that only dodges a high laser so i doubt it was for the reason you're saying
Anybody else think the timer at the top seems a little tacky these day? What's the point in having a timer anymore? People very rarely go to time, and does it make sense to cap the length of the match? One might think it's good for knowing how long the match lasted. I doubt few people even really care. They could add that to the spec sheet after the match for those who are curious. I say we get rid of the timer. Who's with me?!

This might be a joke but I play in a game like this because nobody wants to add a timer and its actually hell. An hour a set is one of our worst examples. Not per grands, ONE SET.
Yeah but I don’t understand the argument to remove it. It may seem pointless for mango zain but I don’t think removing for peach puff would be a good idea especially when the timeout is the most interesting part imo.

@@PalPlays Does a fair against a 13% falco there actually accomplish anything for marth? Seems like it just gives falco a free side-b to stage and leaves marth in a disadvantageous position. It looks like zain ran off to cover dj back side-b and maybe dj forward air-dodge/dair, and even though he "loses" the mixup against what mango actually goes for he's still in position to pressure mango's landing. Seems totally reasonable, marth can't just kill falco on reaction there.
