This is so interesting to watch. I've learned a bit recently about how perception of color can change depending on your language (like if a language doesn't have a word for like periwinkle they wont see it as different than gray or purple) but that added on to color blindness and being stripped away is so fascinating to watch.
The whole vod was such a treat to watch. Happy for you, Cody
This is one of the coolest introspective into the human brain I've ever seen
love the stardew winter theme that plays right when u put on the glasses, really captures that magical feel of being finally to see colour lawl
This is the most wholesome smash content I've seen in a long time 🥺
Is it bad that when I realized he clearly has trouble seeing red my first question was: "How does he stop at red lights if he can't see them?" 😂
A colorblind friend explained that they know which lights are which based on position
Had the same type of feeling and reaction when I first wore glasses for my nearsighted vision
I always love those reactions where they're just like "you're fucking with me! no way!"
Reminds me of an lsd trip. "Let me go outside real quick to see if my eyes adjust... Wtf mythologies are all metaphors for naturally occuring phenomenon?"
Yo this is sooo good, great content and happy to see your reactions!
Seeing you experience the full spectrum of color really made me happy for some reason. I hope you are still enjoying the glasses and doing well! Keep up the grind you god tier fox main.
That dead grass clip is incredible
I loved the no context of the "Is that what Grass looks like when it's dead?!
Cody: runs out
Cody: runs back in
"WAIT, I'M BLACK?"
Wish video started earlier though so we can see more context of him unboxing and telling us more about the glasses.
Dude I am so happy for you! So sad I missed the stream, sending my best!
the glasses actually look pretty cool too! Awesome vid!
This video moved me holy shit, happy for you, dude
This is a super cool video, it's actually amazing to see a representation just how different perceptions of the world around become when you can't perceive certain colours
Dude it's like watching the guy from They Live when he gets his shades.
You had me in tears from laughing so much.
This is honestly really cool n heartwarming to see. Glad you got them man
This put a big smile on my face. Super happy for you.
Check out the game Ori and the Will of the Wisps; it’s one of the most beautiful games you’ll ever play (and it’s super good). There’s especially a ton of purple throughout the game and knowing now that you’re a fan of purple I think you’d have quite the experience with the game.
This was really beautiful. I'm glad you can enjoy more colors now 💙
damn id never eat peanut butter if it looked like that lmao
I'm so happy for you cody. One thing that would be neat is going to one of the color palette builder websites, and saying what they look like with and without. :)
This is my favorite video you have released. So happy for you :)
I don't have colorblindness, but when I got my first glasses I was baffled with the fact that there were more mountains close to my house. I am completely serious.
Rainbow exists.
Cody: I thought that was blue!
Bro, this is so awesome. I'm so glad for Cody
Watching this made me smile seeing his reactions to colors! So happy people can get these type of glasses now
This is really wholesome. I'm happy for you!
"The more I look at stuff, the more I'm starting to see things."
That's right up there with "People die when they are killed."
LOOOOOL
not quite
This is such a great video outside the context of melee entirely, happy for Cody
So funny seeing this again now that these glasses have been totally debunked and exposed as a scam
even though i have bad eyesight, this vid is making me grateful that i can see color :)
