taka has an amazing voice. and this band is all about making songs with powerful/uplifting/positive lyrics. an absolutely incredible band that i've been listening to for many many years. i'd recommend:

- make it out alive 1chance festival 2023 (a bit more wild, song was made for the mobile game monster hunter)
i could literally recommend every song but i won't do that rn. just check most of them live since this band is as good if not better live and the crowd participation is always incredible 😊

Make it out Alive was actually supposed to be on the Ambitions album, but they decided against it because it didn't fit that album.

@@SaeedReacts.It's worth knowing that Taka was incredibly sick for the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour 2018. It was so bad that they were thinking about cancelling the show. But taka refused to disappoint the fans so they pushed it back an hour so he could go on.
We are in Ambitions Japan Dome tour is my recommendation. They are best in lives.

i'm 67 years old. discovered One Ok Rock recently. USA here and all we get is FM radio trash that the 'Labels' deem profitable.Taka and the band are the most worthy, most amazing band i've heard in years. my new Favorite Band of All Time. No exaggeration. Taka's voice. and the band.. super tight. they don't get radio play here. i guess money trumps artestry and talent. :(

The best version of ChaosMyth is from the field of Wonder 2020. It was dedicated to Taka's friend who passed away that year. It's worth knowing that it's actually C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. because they used the first letter from all of their friends names and created this title. The H in it is their friend Haruma, who died. You should also check out the version of Be the light from Nagisaen, it hits even harder. In case you didn't know that song is about the tsunami that hit in 2011.
@@Fatalistic_Viking I agree with you that the field of wonder version hits you harder but I personally love the original way of C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. more so my favorite version is the 2014 one. 😊
@@skd4787 have you seen the Nagisaen version? If not it's also amazing. It's like A combination of Mighty Long Fall and Field of Wonder. It starts out with Taka alone playing an acoustic guitar on a secondary stage in the middle of the crowd. Then the whole band comes in halfway through. What makes the entire Nagisaen show like no other is the epic crowd

The version of cry out from the 2016 Nagisaen show is truly incredible. The crowd is just epic. When they usually play cry out Taka calls for the crowd to make some circle pits.

For another really energetic performance you should check out "Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer" live at Yokohama stadium Mighty Long Fall tour. It's another incredibly popular song that they always play around the end of a concert.

One thing recommend doing if possible is react to two different live versions of the same song. They will have a different feeling or even arrangement depending on the concert. They've released about a dozen live shows in the past decade, and that's not including videos from festivals they've played at.

@@SaeedReacts. You're welcome. I've been a fan for a decade now and I'm always happy to share whatever I can. As others have mentioned their songs have incredible lyrics, but a lot of those songs have a deeper story behind them. For example when the song We Are was written the voting age in Japan was changed from 21 to 18 and they wanted to inspire them to stay hopeful and not let the older generation push them around. They had the 18fes where 1000 18 year olds sang the song with them.
