guys, i recommend you check the grade thresholds for o/n 2023. my teacher showed me this and it has given me so much confidence. it will show you how many marks you can get or lose to meet your desired grade. trust me it's the best🤗

Had component 42 today and it was extremely hard, I hope grade thresholds are low and I can get my A*, there was a terrible question about some half cylinder and its water level dropping down by 6 cm, I hope I get at least 100/130

Hi in paper 2 there was a question in which we had to circle which graph the two are they gave the options I got both right but I circled with a hb pencil will they check it or skip

@@GingerMathematician Thanks I finished the exam a few hours ago and it went ok it was A LOT of mensuration and geometry and unfortunately mensuration was my weak point but I still think that I have a small chance of getting an A* best of luck to everyone that has done or still need to do their exams and special thanks to you ginger.

Hello ginger how are you, I just attempted p22 of math and in it transformation came and many people are saying it now wont repeat however it was only a 4 mark question. What do you think will it repeat? As igcse exam board is getting very cheeky this year as all the other exams have been very hard so what do you think will we get more curve balls? And also the pattern of p2 felt very different and this is an issue repeating withing other science subjects p4 do you think we will also get a different p4 this time. As we know cambridge mostly does not repeat p2 questions do you think they can suprise us with giving us one or two and also should i expect a lot of curved balls?. Sorry for taking so much of your time but i have another question. I have completed my igcse prep and have donwe past paper practice from 2017 till 2023 varriant 1 and 2 for summer and winter sessions i didnt touch much of march or any other varriant ill be doing the march session and one oct nov paper of 2023 tmrw which is the day before the exam for me. What do you think i should additionally do to confirm that A*. Also can you make a video on paper time management as thats very bad for me it made me miss out of p2 vector question too. I am alway very prepared but i start spending too much times on question so even if i know the paper sometime i am not able to complete this happened in my mock exams too what should i do for that? as in home pp practice i always clock under the time limit but in exams i get fricked. HELPPPP.

Ginger please I didnt solve much yearly past papers for paper 4 maybe only 1 or 2 , and I was nervous that I’m not gonna pass paper 4 for doing so , although I did good in paper 2 , I’ve seen your video about all of igcse paper 4 and the questions you solved were easy , there are only 2 days left for the exam but I’m still kinda nervous , so should I solve some yearly past papers or should I watch topical past paper questions ?
broo past papers are important do atleast a few more and just revise by watching his all of IGCSE math paper 4 video

Hi I did the paper 4 well but in some of the questions i skipped some parts due to having low space but got the right answers so how many method marks should I expect to lose

i got a question in paper 2 which was a 5 mark simultaneous equation, and i still remember the exact question:
y=x²+18 , 4y+3x=13
substitute y from the first equation to the second equation and do so algebra magic to get the 2 values of x and substitute these in the first equation to get 2 values of y

just finished the exam it was very hard but I think I can at least get 95/130. Still all thanks to your efforts. I went from averaging 45% to now getting marks like this because of you

Any idea on how much they'll increase the grade boundaries by? Paper 2 was easy but I made the dumbest mistakes ever. By 2023 standards I could def achieve a C but who knows :[
focus on paper 4, you can undo the impact of some of those mistakes if you do well on it

@@GingerMathematician nope as far as I can remember no vectors only 4 marks worth of circle theorems which were 2 marks each and other were mensuration like finding vol of cylinder with shaded areas and the last 2 pages were from differentiation and dining turning points

Did anyone else did really bad in this exam? I usually get high grades in the mocks but this time the exam felt incredibly different and difficult, i was so nervous that i eveb fked up excersices i'd normally know how to solve, it makes me feel so bad mannnn 🫠
