Omg I have been devouring the wicked villains series so far this year! I'm reading them out of order since I just borrow whatever I can get my hands on from libby when available and I feel like the order isn't super important. Also NONE of them have let me down yet. They're all super steamy, filled with sexually fluid characters - we love to see it - and always stresses the importance of consent!!! Top tier smut content!

I kind of want to read I married a lizardman just because of the title :P And alien romance books with kind of strange and ridiculous titles and concepts kind of intrigue me enough to try them. And learn my lesson actually sounds good! I cannot deal with romance audiobooks I can never listen to them lol. I actually love weddings in books.

I’m really interested in the Wicked Villains series…especially some of the special edition hardcovers 🤩 I wasn’t sure about them at first, as villains, especially male villains, aren’t my thing, but I love how unapologetically queer they are! I also adored both Neon Gods and Electric Idol, which are Greek myth retellings. And I’m not entirely sure how, but I think there’s a connection between the series, as NG is Hades/Persephone, and I know Katee Robert wrote a Hades/Hades family short between NG-Hades and LML Hades that she sent out with her newsletter.
WAIT there are special edition hardcovers of the Wicked Villains series?! I had no idea!

Loving these vlogs! I would recommend Mangoes and Mistletoe or Her Night with Santa by Adriana Herrera for steamy sex scenes. They're both sapphic as well! They are Christmas themed, but these are the only two I've read from her so far and I love her writing and storytelling.

I read Games We Played last year, and I really loved it. I can definitely understand why it wouldn't be for everyone. I have a couple of Katie Roberts books but haven't read them yet. I just got done last night with my reread of House Of Earth and Blood. And I am currently reading, House Of Sky and Breath. So far its like a 4 star read but I am only on 161 out of 801 pages. So my rating can definitely change. Hope your doing well. And you trying to blow out the candle was freaking Hilarious, my friend 🤣.

You should try Tamed by Tana Stone! It is a smutty Alien series! Smut is great, story is good but definitely a guilty pleasure. They are only about 240 pages on kindle.

I'm glad you liked Dick Fight Island though the 2nd one comes out March 8th. Don't give up on Manga. There are a lot of good ones out there. My favorite series from last year was Sweat and Soap. Which is a silly gimmick to start Out: a woman with a sweating issue ends up with the head of soap scent development in her company. It ends up becoming the sweetest thing while still being steamy. Manga can be a bit tricky because there is a lot of dubious consent out there ( the whole "she feels like she has to say no even though she wants to be saying yes" thing). It's frustrating but it seems to be fading out in popularity thank goodness (or I keep getting lucky~). This encouraged me to finally stop slacking and read the Katee Roberts book I have on my physical TBR!
I'm gonna keep researching all the best mangas out there and read more, I just seemed to get a rare bad one with Wild Wild Wildlife, but it hasn't deterred me from trying more manga 😊

Just a suggestion if you wanna take it... but there's a series that's mmf, a few in the series is vampire/human then the rest are shifter/human. It has storyline but much smut. Plus its going to be a tv series, hopefully in December. (It's a tv show based on her books along with my favorite authors series.) But enough rambling...the books I think you'll like is Kade's Dark Embrace by Kym Grosso, the series is "immortals or new orleans" and all are mmf/smut. I believe she's an indie author.
