- Hello, It's Ninjadan with another video in my botting series. I'll probably stop making the side clickbait that normally results in this form of video as my computer is no longer powerful enough to be able to run these levels solidly on 60fps. I believe it might be time for a computer upgrade for me. I mean my computer is good at least good at rendering and making videos because that is literally what I made it for. Gaming was an afterthought.
Anyway, which is the hardest level in the game, Acheron or Avernus? Recently after Diamond's Progress, Avernus has been placed at the top one which is probably where it should have been once verified but no one has really dared to touch the level since for... reasons.
Anyway in this video I bot both Avernus and Acheron to give the true full opinions from a noob with a macro so you can truly realize what level gets that glowing top 1 spot on the geometry dash demonlist.

True, but I believe level creators should still strive to create good gameplay; the Demonlist has been the basis of the game for quite a while now, at least for skilled players. Heck, levels are made specifically for it nowadays; it doesn't serve as a mere unofficial difficulty ranking system.

It’s crazy to think how everyone is overhating Avernus, like Zoink and diamond said that it is fun and even Trick also thinks this way, just because it’s hard and the community is noob that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Acheron is way worse because it’s very chockepoint heavy and you die the same thing over and over again, and you can’t judge the gameplay just for botting both levels

Sure im not the best when it comes to opinions like this. But i have always seen the Avernus x Acheron situation as similar to Firework x slaughterhouse. Acheron is harder on gameplay but Avernus is more difficult/annoying to learn given the fixed hitboxes. And it was similar with firework and SH given that slaughterhouse looked like it had harder gameplay but firework was way more learny

@@Coconuthut1 it is deep. I mean it needs to be said what level is harder. Diamond didin't play Acheron so he doesn't know that it's TOP 1 or not , and zoink said Acheron is harder ,also playing level at 0.3x speed and at 1.0x speed is a diffrence.

Honestly the fact that nobody wants to play this because it throws off people's muscle memory with the fixed hitbox makes the level wayyy harder

I mean that the fixed hitboxes kind of makes people's muscle memory so if it was just the spikes closer it would make it easier since most players are already used to the hitboxes but the fixed hitboxes forces players to learn "new hitboxes". I hope you'll understand

fixed hitboxes are bad but honestly kinda acceptable in any top 5 like youre beating top 5s and complaining that you cant adapt to specific clicks hitboxes

The commentary for this video is great I just wish there wasn't many random camera movements and effects.
Mainly the camera zoom ins and subtle shakes it makes it a bit harder to watch.
And the long pauses with the player staying still and with a text bubble,
I think you could just show the uneditied footage and add some captions at the bottom and it would be much better

Man , for all those people in the comments let me explain. Playing a level at 0.3x speed and 1.0x is a huge diffrence like , i played Silent Clubstep on 0.3x speed and Acheron in 0.3x speed and Silent Clubstep was ALOT i am sayin ALOT harder to get through. Also Diamond may said in the title of the video (Avernus) "TOP 1" but it's because Avernus is now at TOP 1 spot on the demon list. Zoink (The only victor of Avernus) said that Acheron is harder (Also Acheron took him double the attempts to beat).It is a really tricky situation tho considering that no one has beat Avernus yet because of it's SHITTY gameplay.But i don't think that matters in difficulty because Avernus may not be fun at all it doesn't change it difficulty based on the amount of victors it has. In this case we have more proof that Acheron is harder than Avernus. Just because Avernus has 1 victor (Zoink) doesn't mean it's harder , people just don't play it because of how unfun it is. Sorry for typing that much.
You’re absolutely right, i could say that my level is a top 1 because nobody has beat it but me, when clearly it isn’t a top 1, I think more people need to beat a level before it gets put on the demon list.
acheron took him that many attempts because top 1 stress and the difficulty gap between slh and acheron is much bigger than acheron and avernus
