- In this video, we fix an iPad Mini 5. The screen was stabbed and needed to be replaced. Ipad mini 5's are a little easier than the previous model version of pads because the LCD and glass are all in one. However, the cost of the part has increased and you are more likely to break the LCD because they are connected. Hope you guys enjoyed it!

When I was younger, I dropped my iPad mini 4 and broke the screen. So we took it to the local repair shop and they “fixed it” but the home button kept sliding over and not clicking so you’re definitely right about people being rough with the home button.
Same thing happened to me but the home button had completely came off , i guess its an new 2022 iPad now. 😂

I fixed my aunt's iPhone 6 recently (my first repair on someone else's device), and the home button was something I was also really surprised at how lose it ended up being. So I taped a few think layers of black tape around the bracket/clicky thing (because I didn't have any adhesive) until it was as tight and as clicky as it originally was. There's something about hacky solutions that just work that I really like when it comes to repairing, haha.

@@Saabafton ive had a good amount of apple proudcts, dropped them all and all of them have been fine except one when i dropped it on concrete without a case. it seems like they’re really hit or miss, ive had good ones but others will be breaking by dropping them on grass like you said.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, and when I went to use it one day, the touch stopped working, and we tried everything we could. A few years later I try to at least get it to charge, and it wont charge at all. Our chargers are working, it just wont charge or respond to touch. My mom and dad probably wont let me get it fixed, mainly because I have a new phone, but my Samsung tab will make me so happy to have back, and have all my game progress and videos I meant to put up before it stop working.

I heard this when cleaning up glass, if you feel like you have glass in your hand but cant see it or pull it put, grab some glue and put it over the area and let it dry, peel it off afterwards. Im not sure if it gets all of it but it sure does help

Ive removed the glass on an lcd using go gone. It softens the adhesive and works pretty well too. Downside is it gets into the lcd backlight.
