Average stats and great all round game
Ronaldos madrid career is solely depended upon stats and not the overall game
Madrid fans saying he was better before 2014 , yes he was I do agree
But the reason people remember him for is for his 3 peat UCL where he was solely focused on finishing

Salah is so direspected when it comes to premier league greats, the guy is by far the most consistent attacker weve seen in the prem, he very rarely gets injured drops double digit goals and assist for 7 seasons in a row, regardless of how his team is performing . In my opinion in this Generation his the 2nd best right wing ofc behind Messi the goat

Mohamed Salah seriously went from premier league reject to being one of the greatest players the premier league has ever seen and he’s often compared to Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo and even though he spent more time in England than him he literally has more goals and assists than him and we have to remember that both players played in much different roles. Ronaldo was more of an out and out winger, Salah plays that exact same position but he’s more of an inside forward who cuts in from the left on the right wing.
He had to overcome some difficulties to get to being the player that he is today and he did it in fashion. He was a promising player at Basel and we already saw a glimpse of how good he can be which is why Chelsea signed him in 2014. His time at Chelsea led to people calling him a premier league reject with Jose Mourinho not giving him a lot of chances before kickstarting his career in Serie A with Roma and Fiorentina and in 2017 after a fantastic stint at Roma, he returned to the premier league joining Liverpool. Similar to when Kevin De Bruyne joined Manchester City in 2015 after dominating the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg, people were skeptical towards Mohamed Salah because of his failed stint at Chelsea and had this premier league reject narrative surrounding him and as they say the rest is history and he is now arguably the greatest premier league winger and has been the best player in the league for a while now.

both UCL finals that we lost were cheats, but more with the Ramos one, it's a dirty club that people love don't know why. In the last final i'll give credit to their goal keeper, the guy was inspired and "caught even wifi" that day, but what made me mad was the madrid fans invading, the game getting delayed and so the players lost some of their concentration, things could've gone in a completely different direction, if not for that.

In his very first season at Liverpool, he produced one of the best individual seasons I’ve ever seen. He has taken the premier league by storm and in all competitions he had 60 G/A 44 goals and 16 assists and had 32 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League alone that season and he helped Liverpool reach their first champions league final since 2005 getting them back to a high pedigree in European football. He broke a lot of records that season making it look so easy and what he’s done in the next 6 seasons, Mohamed Salah has proven that he isn’t a one season wonder and as he continued scoring goals and putting up impressive numbers year in year out. The premier league is deemed as the most competitive league in the world, yet the guy as a RW won 3 premier league Golden Boots while playing in a wide position and he’s 5th all time in Liverpool scoring has over 200+ goals for them 150+ goals in the premier league top 10 in league scoring, he won 2 PFA Player of the Season awards and a guy who’s responsible for scoring goals he also won a Playmaker of the Season award and he’s not just a prolific goalscorer. He’s been at Liverpool for 6 seasons and he’s registered 20+ goals or more in all of those seasons in all competitions achieved that feat 4 times in the Premier League alone and has surpassed 30+ goals or more in 4 seasons there including his last 3 and even in seasons where the team wasn’t at their best, he’s still scoring goals and producing the goods.
Talk about consistency and it’s not bad for a guy who is seen as a one season wonder and he’s just been dominating the premier league for years making it look too easy. A key thing that he has is availability as since joining Liverpool, he doesn’t miss a lot of games and he’s putting up the stats while also playing consistently every season and his fitness levels are staggering. He’s also played a role in Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp where they won everything there is to win under him and we’re competing against one off the greatest teams we’ve ever seen and we live in a world where without Liverpool’s title win in 2020, Manchester City would’ve had 6 straight league titles which is insane and he was key to their premier league win that year and then winning the champions league in 2019. In that season where Liverpool almost won the quadruple he was fantastic yet again with 30+ goals and 15+ assists and achieved the same feat the following season in a team that really struggled. Alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, they formed one of the most devastating attacking trios ever and the chemistry and lineup between the 3 was a foundation for Liverpool’s success. Even after the departures of fellow attackers like Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in a span of 12 months, Mohamed Salah is still lethal and continues to carry Liverpool and has formed a new attacking partnership with Darwin Nunez with the pair playing off each other so well. This season once again, the guy cannot stop scoring as not only does he have 18 goals and 8 assists in all competitions he has 14 of those goals in the premier league alone to go along with his 8 assists and he’s just not slowing down anytime soon and despite his future being a bit uncertain and is more uncertain following Jurgen Klopp’s announcement that he’s leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, I hope he stays in premier league for a little longer because he can play at a top level for many more years. He has to be in your all time premier league XI on the right wing and even though he has less league titles than Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure both of them what they did for Chelsea and Manchester City respectively are iconic, but Mohamed Salah has been doing this consistently for Liverpool in the last 7 years and he might be the greatest premier league winger ever. We can bring up the fact that he’s won just 1 league title and 1 champions league title without Manchester City and Real Madrid he would’ve had more trophies to his name and he has left a lasting legacy on the premier league and while I personally think that Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo is better slightly, Mohamed Salah individually since he has more goals and assists than him has surpassed his legacy in the premier league alone because he spent more years there scoring 20+ goals every season and he is in the same conversation as him just in the Premier League. This is just greatness and we’ve been witnessed to what he has done for Liverpool and this is just generational stuff from him.

Ronaldo was pretty much in his formative years at Man U (he left when he was 24). Salah was 25 and in full prime when he joined Liverpool, so it's not really fair to compare the two. But that doesn't take away that Salah is the best offensive player in the Premier League since Thierry Henry. Maybe he's on Henry level of greatness, maybe he's better, maybe not. Matter of opinion.

The reason Liverpool's Mohamed Salah gets less recognition than Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo is the name of the club.
People are desperate to sleep on Liverpool because of Hillsborough and Heysel, but the national media hates the city of Liverpool more than Manchester because the city of Liverpool is more out spoken against the government than Manchester, even though both cities lean left.
There's a further level of groupthink in that the world treats MU as "England's Team," and they'll have legions of fans who don't even know why they like the team.

Only thing I would argue for Ronaldo’s case is that in his absolute peak he won the Ballon D’or by a convincing margin while at Manchester United. Salah was never at any point difinitively the best player in the world while at Liverpool… Consistency wise though of course Salah does exceed Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s journey to the top was also crazy… within 3 years from being seen as a very talented, yet flashy winger with lack of end product to Ballon D’or winner is the most impressive progression we’ve ever seen a footballer in the prem.. arguably even more impressive than Salah… Even just looking at his time in England… Ronaldo won it all in 3 seasons while being not just Manchester United’s best player… but as I mentioned earlier the best player in the world…

Ronaldo is much better then Salah. But if we just look at the premier league Salah objectively has better stats. Whether that makes him “better” or not is subjective, I’m just making one argument

The problem why Salah isnt as famous as CR7, is simply down to 3 reasons :-
    A) Liverpool Marketing and Public Relation budget much lower than MU.
    B) Salah performance against top teams are poorer than CR7.
    C) Salah isn't clinical enough at finals or during game changer moments.
Now, some would be angry at this, particularly Liverpool fans, please do not get this wrong, im not downplaying his legendary skills, im just stating facts. Cristiano Ronaldo is an always present danger as in, he is tall and strong as well, giving all 5 star defenders a very hard time. In Finals or important moments, Salah is barely there, Liverpool fans have praised Divock Origi who played much less in winning CL, Firmino in playing a huge role to assist Mane and Salah. You dont hear these things about CR7 and MU, despite being better, CR7 poses far more threats than Salah did, as once Salah is marked well, he is pretty much shut down, this is not the same with CR7 who can power through. This fact about CR7 superiority also includes one very subliminal fact, his stats in raining conditions barely change. So even though Salah is one of the best wingers, others who are not Liverpool fans, dont see it too often, very much more rare. To provide differences in stardom, Steven Gerrard 2005 run to CL in Istanbul, is by far much more entertaining than Salah in his entire career in CL. Can Liverpool fans say, maybe Smicer could have won it for Liverpool? No. Can Baros outshine Gerrard? No. So when Salah doesnt do all of this, outshined by Bale and Origi(his own teammate), how can he have more impact?

You're forgetting that it's a different time period you're comparing.
AND comparing a player's prime to a player early 20s in the premier league ( Ronaldo)
Ronaldo played with united for the first time when he was 18 till 24, would salah achieve what he achieved with Liverpool playing from age 18-24? that's the question.
    also
scoring now is so different from scoring in the epl from 2004-2009
back then it wasn't easy to score that much
like i think players like haaland, salah, mbappe as well won't be scoring as much if they played at that time
so i think newer players will always outscore or rival old legends.
football gets easier to score if you play in a top tear team that is in a good form.
