actually... if you go too high no matter how powerfull your voice is... you start to sound thin with some heavy guitars and a heavy drum... in pellek case tho... he doesnt seem to sound thin at all...
Aaannnd this cover is from 6 years ago... so I think today the cover would be a bit different because his vocal range improved because of practicing and evolving.

I just stumbled across one of your videos and am now listening through some of them. You are really incredible, there's so much emotion and intensity in each of your videos. Just awesome! You've now gained a new subscriber :)
When you sing "..now I find, the Phantom of the opera is here" for the first time in the song, your vowel placement in the whole phrase coming down from that tenor high C is in a much better place than your usual. Notice how the voice has a brighter edge on it and is easier to produce. Re-listen to that and re-sing it a few times just that way and you will see. THAT is more where your middle and lower voice should be. Anyway, this was a great re-invention of this song. I enjoyed it a lot.

Absolutely incredible. I was so hoping for the bit in the female vocals where Tarja starts really low and steadily increases in pitch until it reaches the frankly ridiculous, but nevertheless an amazing job. I wish with all my heart that I had a voice like yours!

I had sorely hoped... that being said, mixed feelings on that he did not actually. I would've preferred if he did, but the more contemporary vocal style better matches the cover he is covering, so it's a bit of a toss up I think.

The song is obviously well executed but the thing people not getting is.....the original concept. One is low and powerful while other one is high pitched woman voice which he achieved neither. Still really good work!!!
