Pentatonix is infamous for their wall of sound. They build layers to a crescendo for the climax and then let the sound dissipate and finish gently. I really like those times when they go into a five-part belt. Having one person belting can enhance a song, but if you do it at just the right time with the right build, having five distinctive voices belting as a single unit is incredible.

After the holidays you should check out their solo work. Scott first solo Mars is incredible. Kirstin has a solo album and Mitch has his Messer songs. All so talented.
Kevin Olusola has 3 EPs. "Renegade" and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" are under his name and the third one is as part of his trio named Triptyq. All are amazing. All are on CZcams and can be bought and/or streamed where ever people get music.

This is my favorite version of this song-nonstop goosebumps and chills no matter how many times I’ve watched/listened! They give it the passion and power that it deserves (considering the topic) and just take it to a new level in true PTX style. Each person is brilliant in his/her part. I know you are partial to Scott 😊, but Mitch is my favorite, and I love his gorgeous lower register here. You should watch Amazing Grace sometime, too. It used to be in my top 3 until their recent releases, and it is a spiritual experience whether you are a spiritual person or not! Thanks for your reaction ❤💚
