  • Make Your Own Colored Glass Cabochons | B'Sue Boutiques
    Join Javi to explore making your own colored glass cabochons. Javi will show you how to make it using perfect pearls. You're going to love it. Remember to seal it with Krylon spray lacquer if you are just using water. When gluing the cabochon, glue the sides to help it stick to the mount. Check it out, and come have fun!

    I love this idea. I tried it using the 3d magic but sprinkled very fine glitter in the mix. It worked and came out nice.

    What if I want a different shape
    Can I break the glass melt it down and put it in a silicone mold or do I have to use a kiln

    • @bsueboutiques
      @bsueboutiques  Před 2 lety

      No, that would be another process entirely. This is a cold method that goes over top of an existing shape. Making a different shape would be a different skill.

    Nice idea, can you use mod podge? Or 3d magic to mix the mica with? Anyone try it?

    • @bsueboutiques

      Not yet but great idea 💡

      I would not use Mod Podge. The other product might work but is an older product. UV Resin might be better.
