Enorme guitarrista acompaño mi adolescencia en todos los sentidos junto a los otros monstruos descansa en paz brilla desde el cielo abrazo enorme a the allman brother band
@Harmony & Hearts Lifestyle - You are doing a fantastic job: you've delivered details that I didn't know about and very much appreciate the respect you've given to the artist that you've covered thus far. We all know that most were not clean, sober angels; they had problems, setbacks and were under pressures we will not experience in our lives. Again, thank you and I hope you keep it coming!
Betts was the one member of the ABB that Ronnie Van Zant wanted no part of. Those original Skynyrd guys were always fighting. In a way Skynyrd was kinda like the ABB’s rowdy little brother.
They were really tired of the photographer and been taking pics for album cover Al day. As they were alll in their places a dealer sneaked up and gave Duane an 8 ball of coke. He covered it in his hands and everybody laughed. That's the Live album cover.
There is so much detritus on the internet now, about equal between True and Untrue. So much revisionist history. I am pretty much done with Backstory. Let the music (movie/sports plays/etc) speak for itself. Teach your children to separate their heroes' on-field or on-stage performance from their personal lives. That said, regarding the history of the Allman Brothers Band: you couldn't make this s$#t up.
Dickey's music will last forever and now Jaimoe is the last man standing. RIP Dickey
I was thinking the same thing. And Garth Hudson is the last man standing from The Band.
Dickey Bets is gone but his music will always live on!!
