    I would add that Ange’s biggest strength is his man management, and that his tactics are in many ways influenced by this.
    Aggressive, expressive, looking to be on the front foot and making plays regardless of the phase of play. People say that this is a style that the players really enjoy playing, and I think that’s crucial for Ange. He talks a lot about building an environment where players have the belief that they can take risks and reach for that absolute ceiling of their potential.
    Is the squad thin this year? Absolutely. But remember that Tottenham are the best positioned in terms of FFP of any of the big English clubs, and we’ll have plenty of windows to get the squad to a higher level.
    Before the season a lot of fans were content to see a mid-table finish and get a good solid look at what Ange would bring. Maybe that’s just what happens when you’ve not won much of anything, but it should be noted that Ange runs a very different system from Conte and a bit of a rebuilding year was inevitable.
    And from all that, we’re seeing a side that with slightly better depth and a bit better injury luck, could compete for the title immediately.

    On paper their formation is 4 3 3 in possession it is 2 3 4 1. They play forward and between the lines quickly. Basically they pass and move. Arsenal & City want to have more control of the game. Like you say they need another creative player.

    These aren't really secrets, more just how they work well together. Secrets would be like "Kulusevsky always turns in for 3 attacks so that on his 4th the defenders gives him space out wide" but these are like "they press"
    It's more like someone explaining their fifa career mode tactics lol

    • @goalgazette2
      @goalgazette2  Před 3 měsíci +2

      It’s “KULUSEVSKI” not Kulusevsky and a player cutting in 3 times but not on fourth time is just awareness. Awareness is a SKILL, not a tactic. On the contrary pressing is an actual tactic 💀

  • @Arkkis3014
    @Arkkis3014 Před 3 měsíci +3

    Well the first tactic is failing because we are leaking goals still like crazy and making lots of last min mistakes leading to goals and losing points.
    We simply are just trying to out score the opposition every game, literally always have to score at least 3 to win the game.
    Also forcing wide isn't working because we are also incredibly vulnerable to crosses.
    Then when the fullbacks are in midfield and anybody loses the ball we are immediately subject to an overload counter with only the 2 centre half's left back.

    • @samsonodunola6070
      @samsonodunola6070 Před 3 měsíci +6

      What you are describing means the tactic is effective but the players don't always get it right every time which is bound to happen.

      The fist tactic - the press- hasn't really been implemented since November due to missing personal. Our press in the first 11 games had Son, Richy and Solomon but since then it has looked very different, almost a half-press.

    • @amasim86
      @amasim86 Před 3 měsíci

      The midfield is key here because they can retain the ball beat the press and pick out passes between the lines. Unfortunately, holjberg and skipp cannot do what sarr and biss can do. Also Bentencaur has just come back from 9 months out and le celso is not an adequate enough replacement for Madders.
