Love your videos I'm from Elland I moved away years ago not the nicest of town I lovd to go back and visit family there though coz I know I'm leaving again lol.
Used to live there between 2012 - 22. Thought the place wasn't all that bad. Mix of old and new buildings. I lived near to the car park you didn't notice on the way in. At the back of the opticians on southgate there's the remnants of what was a cottage (I presume). I think the date above the door reads 1675. Lovely walk along the canal to brighouse. There's a set of stocks near to the fire station café. They used to be situated outside the jail, which was close to the roundabout by b&m. Also the stone that bears the inscription "whomsoever keepeth the law is wise" (or close to that) which was also part of the jail. I think the date on that is 1821.
It's Yorkshire, but not as we know it. Apart from the Rex it's hard to see anything endearing from that tour.
