Yea, I'm a big guy too, not nearly as big as him, but I wouldn't hurt a fly. I'm 6'5" 325 lbs. Kids get scared of me sometimes, so anytime I meet a new kid and I love kids, I get down on my knee and talk to them face to face, even though my knees hurt me real bad. I'd love to meet Big Show someday.

Maybe not physically but if you think a 101 lbs 6 year old or a nearly 7 foot teenager didn't get verbally abused you're crazy, I was born with a bone disease and none related hurt my back at 15 and was paralyzed when I was 20, I've always fought back against any kind of physical abuse and can safely say I've stamped out any kinds of physical bullying straight away but still lose sleep over some of the horrible things that have been said to me over the years.

I wish he would have followed the Rock's lead and gotten into acting. I was never a wrestling fan, but I've enjoyed every interview I've seen with him. The Conan segment with him, Tom Selleck, and Sue Johanson is the best late night segment of all time.

Met him around 20 yrs ago, he was wrestling on the rehab circuit in some small church gym. Mark Henry was there too that I remember. Anyway I had my little nephew with me, he was around 6 yrs old and we got to casually go up and talk to Big Show...up close and personal. He is, as we all know, legit a large human being...and my little nephew just looked up at him, eyes wide as can be lol. Big Show must of looked 30 ft tall to him. But he is literally the nicest, most genuine, good hearted guy you could ever meet. He talked to us a little bit, shook my nephews hand and my nephew started smiling and was no longer scared of the "giant". Super nice, down to earth guy...humble etc. Met Mark Henry as well and also a super nice guy to us. Up close, there is just no words for how thick of a human being he is...how massive. Its stunning and intimidating. Big Show as well. Thing about guys that big is, they are usually the nicest people among us. I guess nature balances it out and they themselves also realize that if they ever decide NOT to be nice...they would really hurt people bad lol

True story. I met Big Show backstage doing security at a wrestling event while in the military down in Augusta, GA in the early 2000s. Indeed the biggest man I have ever seen in person.

Paul is a very humble and friendly guy that I got the pleasure of meeting some years ago. His stature is one to cause people to be uneasy but he is by definition "a gentle giant".
I've always been really impressed with how clever and charismatic Paul Wight has been on talk shows like this. I saw a previous Conan episode, possibly from when Wight was with the WCW, and he had me in stitches.

Big Show is a cool guy. It's always really nice to see celebrities or people with different abilities that have insight. He's right. He was probably feeling different in school, but probably also the guy that watched out for other different kids.
I remember a similar story like this being told by Andre the Giant in Japan. He couldn't fit in the toilet. So he would take bowel movement in the shower. Then flush it out with the shower into the drain. True story.

Met Paul quite a few years ago when my uncle did an autograph session. Not only was he one of the nicest people we dealt with he personally threw my dad an extra few hundred from his cut for keeping the line moving and people from over-crowding him. Held me above his head by my ankle and his hands are legitimately twice the size of an average mans. He is the definition of a gentle giant.

Never heard a bad thing about him. Knew a guy that was deployed when we hate Ameristan and Iraq was hot and WWE sent him and a bunch of other stars over he he said Paul was a super cool dude and sat down telling stories and even getting personal with a bunch of stuff. Said he loved every minute of it and said he was a very humble guy

I remember when he would come on Late Night with Conan. He came often. I watched Conan all the time. I wasn't a wrestling fan but The Big Show and Conan always had great chemistry. You can tell they were actually friendly with each other. The Big Show is a really funny guy.

One of the best, smartest and funniest guys I know does MMA and is a stunt performer and trainer in movies. He’s the opposite of what anyone would expect

My experience on almost every bus from Durban to Joburg... and so on.
