🔥HOT OR NOT? What do you think about the exterior of the EQS? #EQS
Not in Winter! It has NO HEAT PUMP!?! At that price?
@@honesty_-no9he that's a very good point! Was very surprised when I realized that.
So sitting in the back at 100,000 Euros is not as good as the BYD HAN. Shuv it Mercedes! Plus where is the Karaoke microphone LOL! ? PS Still love BYD's landscape/portrait switching screen more.
Thanks for your honest and unbiased review of the EQS
Glad it was helpful!
Good video!
Thanks
I love the design of the E.Q.S.
The Mercedes I.C.E. cars, particularly the S Class look outdated and heavy.
Fantastic video. We have the eqs450+ for a few months now and it has been great. I do agree that it feels more like a Eclass when it comes to the interior. It does not feel like the previous Sclass’s we have had when it comes to the luxury.
Thank you. What's your favorite aspect of the car?
@@ItsOnlyElectric The best part by far is the range. The range of the EQS 450+ is the strong point.
@NKPGarage yes, the range is insane!
It's not the best looking Mercedes ever, but acceptable because the shape serves the purpose of efficientcy. I think it's better looking in silver or blue, a black car with black wheels are always ugly in my opinion. I am looking for a efficient long range EV, and planning to buy a used 2022 450+ from Germany. There is a small selection of cars from 72-80.000 € at the moment. Nio have still not put the 150 Kwh battery on sale, so in my opinion the EQS is the best compromise at the moment. Plus the dealer/service network is well established. Really looking forward to your range test!
Also checked the second hand prices and they tend to loose a lot of value in Germany the first year. So probably good bang for the buck. Range video coming this weekend. 👍
I lease the SQS 450+ in the USA with almost 4,000 miles. These cars are having a hard time selling in the USA, but you can get excellent deals. I am driving my Mercedes right now because of the deal I got. Otherwise, I might afford to pay the price tag it requires, but even like that, I will not pay $1,800/month for a lease. That number was what Mercedes initially wanted people to pay, which is ridiculous. I got my deal for less than 800 dollars/month. This is a really, really nice car.
@edross2826 sounds like a bargain!
Why does almost everyone forgets to mention that there is a second charging pad in the box in the middle box? Plus EQS Facelift kinda ignored going with standard screen. All new face lifted eqs comes with hyperscreen.
It's a very strange place to put a QI charger in..almost useless. 😕 But I totally missed to cover it in the video 👍
Like that the went for hyperscreen as standard the same route the went for EQE SUV too.
Everything is awesome except the looks.. 😝😝
Haha! Looks and lack of heat pump maybe.
Body style is that of Honda Civic on steroids.
5:11 plenty of legroom? Well really doesn't look like it. Looks rather like a mid class limousine legroom to be honest. May I ask how tall you are?
No you are right, plenty was a bit of s overstatement. But keep in mind that I'm 193cm.
@@ItsOnlyElectric Thanks for the reply!
Have you tried bmw7? I am 195 and back seat of 7 was terrible. Eqs could have better headroom.
My wife gets a new MB every 3 years. I have 2 MBs. I looked forward to seeing and the EQS and conteplating buying one. When I saw the car on the highway, the car reminded me of a big brother to the Honda Civic in style. It is a nice car, but will pass.
Yes, looking forward to a bit more mercedes looking EQ series
Even with the $4000+ Euro rear reclining seat option I don't think it's up to Mercedes S-Class standards from a trim / luxury perspective.
I would say generally that the EQE is C-Class+ standard and the EQS is E-Class standard.
Mercedes have stated numerous times they will not reduce margins on their electric cars - these electric versions are far more expensive to make like for like v the petrol cars so they are reducing the cost of materials (and quality) to make up for the added manufacturing cost of the electric cars to make sense of the pricing.
Makes sense.
Those seats are horrible.
The looks or comfort?
