Been watching yall on tiktok for a lil bit now, however i finally decided to find the podcast and i love this dynamic i feel like this is how it is when i sit down and talk with my close friends where we can go from topic to topic and relate or even agree to disagree and nothing but good vibes, reassurance and more to build on. Love the vulnerability! In my situation it was a 3 year relationship and I would consider it a healthy one actually, but the person became hesitant about the future and our timelines changed and I think he definitely began disconnecting and that was definitely tough and ending something that you thought was good and it was good, but just not enough to make it for the next chapter is tough because you have to redo all of your thoughts and plans that you had already made. And this was my first love too but now I’m just career focused 😛 and learning to be alone and ok

Just found your podcast but I have followed you on TikTok. I was married 18 years and I’m going through Divorce at 42. I know exactly how you felt during your second breakup because I too had the feelings of not being enough and unlike you I did attempt suicide. You never hear of men talking about their break up experience and I thank you for sharing this and also when Carl asked if you are ok now that is such a great friend who is not scared to make sure to ask the questions! Love your content and I’m glad I stayed.

I wish my French sounded like their English. I sound like a country hillbilly when I speak French. I get teased by family because my accent. Lol 😂 they have the slightest accent but it’s very subtle. I watched one and heard une boule de crème glacée and was surprised a little because I couldn’t completely recognize the accent until they said that. Thanks for the confirmation.

When guys say they are on good terms with their ex. How some girls interpret is that you guys are in constant communication/friends. Even though you didn’t say that but it’s what they assume. From my perspective I wouldn’t date a guy that is constantly talking with his ex it’s not insecurity but self respect. But if he says he is in good terms with his ex I would ask if he is in constant communication with her. If that is the case then I will move on. But if they simply are cordial when they run into each other because they ended in good terms there shouldn’t be an issue. But again not all girls think the same.
