Would have just thought about circle of pi
Tan(60°) = (√3/2)/(1/2) = √3
SAT math is very easy, until its hard...
we dont even need to do all that just gotta know tan 60 value
Unit Circle 😢
This question is soo easy bro.. like don't u guys memorise the trigonometric values of basic angles ??
Yeah when I saw the question I was like the answer is root 3
its given on the reference sheet lmao
Wait wait. If u get the angle A as 60° then basic trigonometry tan60=√3
Actually their is no need to use pen to solve this question, it's take just 2sec to solve this problem
You have B 30
Sin 30 = AC/54
Cos 30 = BC/54
So you find the lengths and you do tangent
Math is soooo satisfying 😊
Unless you dont know how to do it, then your done for.
If you don't know special right triangles you're already cooked.
@ComputerCurry they give you a reference sheet on the sat with all of the special right triangles but ig nobody looks at them??
@@yobamayobama8940 if you have to look at the reference sheet, you're cooked
@@JohnSAT Exactly.
@@JohnSAT if you don't know basic trignometry then you are cooked
You know I thought about it like x√3/x and let the x's cancel out and thats How I got to √3.
Why do you overcomplicate it? Just remember the table
Sin law works too
Sin90 Sin30
--- = ---
54 A
Can also do Hsin(30) to get 27. Solve for missing side using Pythagorean Theorem. Sqrt [2187] / 27 = 1.732, sqrt [3] = 1.732. This is just in case you forget the special right triangles.
If you didn't know how to do the math, you could cross out option A because in involves the hypotenuse. Could also cross out option B because tan A, from angle 60, would have a longer side length over a shorter one. 1 < sqrt [3], therefore it cannot be the correct answer.
You would then be left with option C, sqrt [3], and option D, 2 sqrt [3]. If you really didn't know how to do the math, you could get the values of both: C = 1.73, D = 3.46. You could reason that since a triangle w/ 2 45 degree angles would have sides of equal length, a triangle with only 15 degrees of off that would still have pretty similar side lengths, meaning option D is unlikely since it would mean one side is almost 4x longer than the other.
Good video by the way, forgot to say that oops. :D !!
wow!😂❤
A=60 deg and Tan60=sqrt(3), bruh
This was on the test haha
I aced trig in community college 10 years ago with a 103% (extra credit).
Now..I don't recall 💩.
welcome to the club
tan 60 =root 3 its that easy
This math problem puts black and brown kids at a disadvantage due to generational racism not giving them the funds to afford tutoring awarded to their affluent white and asian peers.
you do know school is free for everyone, correct? the reason most black students don't perform as well as most white students is because most of them simply don't care. at least... that's what my dad told me. he could just be racist, i dunno.
Bro, there are *FREE* youtube videos that explain everything that you need to know for the SAT
For most of these "brown" kids, this is 8th grade level maths. Why would you go for tutoring to be able to solve such an elementary question?
@@r4gnkitten they don't teach this stuff until like, late high school...
@@towndefender like I mentioned, the location matters. This is 8th grade math where I am. It may be 12th grade math where you are.
This is a joke, right?
Hmmm..... A=27, but the answer is √3. How???
