Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is definitely one of the top bikes in the market when it comes to looks, performance and price. With a sleek and bad-dodging design, decent performance and very low maintenance cost, this bike is perfect for anyone. The braking system however is something that riders might not like too much. Due to the poor quality of the braking system, riders often end up experiencing a lot of brake noise and poor braking quality.

Ceramic pads last 3-4 times longer than organic pads but are 10 times expensive then organic pads. So it's not worth paying 10 times for something that will last only 3-4 times longer. It's better to invest in organic pads 4 times because it will still cost less and last for the same or more duration.

Nice information. BTW my initial Brake Pads went through pretty awesome 9000 KMs before I had them changed. Both front & back. I think life & quality Brakes is also dependent on how you use it. The technique is important as well.
So, as of now I have ridden almost 12000 KMs and I recently had it serviced at 10000 KMs.
I feel shocks & pulls (JHATKA) sometimes when I ride it. I don't understand what the problem is and what is actually causing it.
I have had RE Service Center guys take a look at it twice but they don't seem to see any problem with it.
But, I can feel it when something is not as it used to be. Have you ever seen anything like this?
Please help and guide.

I purchased meteor supernova last week , after use of 2 days while rear breaking irritating noise is coming specially on 1st and 2nd gear, i shown this to 2 service centre but no one has rectified this and informed that this is due to BS6 norms every vehicle is facing this maybe Honda or other make and improvement process is going on this, please guide if this is true or its a manufacturing defect

Ceramic ones are used purely in racing applications as they require an optimal temperature for best performance

Don't use the one's shown in the video. The front pads don't fit the meteor 350. Though the rear pads fit but it's too fat compared to the default factory pads,so it screechs with the rotor. Use vesrah pads .
