Dear Viewers,
The retail version of Halo Reach has duel wielding Elites; however, in this video I reference the duel wielding Elites found in places such as, Visegrád Station,
and at the beginning of the level, Tip of The Spear, where they are not present in the retail version. In this mod Prometheus for Halo Reach, you will find a considerable amount of duel wielding Elites that not only duel wield plasma rifles or plasma pistols, but also needlers with various combinations. You will engage them in many different locations all throughout the modified campaign and they are very aggressive, so, *"you might have to get creative."* Enjoy ;)

@@dejavu1512 Prometheus and Torpedo are two, of the I'm pretty sure three, operations that Spartan III Companies went on. Basically suicide missions to destroy covie targets.
The Spartan ai is honestly my favorite part of the mod.

The thing I love most about this mod, is the heavy rain. *ENTIRE OCEANS WERE EVAPORATED DURING GLASSINGS.*
Euridanus IV or something like that, John-117 ran into a couple other spartans and they basically did the smiley face emote to each other, and the other part I remember of the book (I don't remember what book) was the part that talked about the heavy rain from an entire river system getting evaporated when the covenant glassed a piece of human resistance that was too much for their ground forces.
It doesn't seem like that was the intention of the Modder though. The level Nightfall seems to be the only one (that was shown here) to have that heavy rain, however that level takes place before full scale hostilities broke out on Reach. Every level past Tip of the Spear that was shown here didn't have the rain. Seems the choice to add the rain was purely aesthetic.

Honestly the best part about the mod imo is just the better ai, it feels like in all shooters the ai is trash and you're the one doing all the work, I wish more games would have good ai so that way playing on the hardest difficulty on shooters would be a more enjoyable experience instead of one were your ai teammates are just shooting at nothing and getting staggered from getting shot all the time because they dont know how to shoot straight
The ai in halo is amazing specially if you take in consideration how old the games are too

Yea most shooters have you sit behind a wall and go pew pew. Maybe throw a nade now and then.
Halo has enemies flanking, chucking nades, rushing you and they dodge when you shoot at them. It makes the campaigns so much more replayable imo

I've never been interested in campaign mods, but after watching this I'll definitely be trying Prometheus out. the sandbox additions are too sick to pass up

I am always stunned by these modders, they really know what we want and what games might need to improve a game we already like or have played 100 times.

I struggle to think of any 'upgrades' here
What I liked best:
- Climbing upon Hunters
- Additional Spartans with improved AI
- Duel sword Elite
- Elite with a shield
- Correct Elite armor colouring
What I missed:
- Silencers for the starting weapons in Nightfall
I agree other than being able to melee the hunters in the back. Being able to plant an explosive in them makes sense, but if you climb onto them and start punching them, the colony of worms should retaliate in some way.

This is a really cool campaign mod that's building off others.
I just tried this out and I can’t stop playing it. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I was 9 when I first played Halo in 2001, and ever since. It’s been my favorite Franchise. I love the Spartan AI it does actually feel like I’m playing along with other players and that feels really good. Because until Halo Reach came out I’ve never played with other people. Just by myself, So this helped me and feel like I’m that 9 year old me again. Anyway My birthday is on the 13th of February, so it feels like a early gift. Later!
We grew up playing Halo around the same age; I'm glad you got to discover this mod in my video, and happy Halo birthday coming up! The author, BestSakuya, has mentioned that he will update the mod as time goes on, so it'll evolve over time for you to enjoy. Time to remember Reach again, in another way ;)

The fact that you can board hunters is an absolutely amazing thing I never thought I'd see in any Halo game! I like how the mod developers just reversed the punching action so it looks like your ripping out the worms. This is so cool!
I personally prefer the jackal shield for Elite Zealot, it looks more consistent than the goofy three diamonds shaped thing from like alpha stages of Halo CE, when the style wasn't refined yet

Playing with ai Spartans is what reach missed tbh. I have seen many halo mods in my life since halo modding started. But this, by far is the most amazing I’ve ever seen. It’s not over exaggerated, it’s not unbalanced, it’s fun, it’s what I expect from the year reach takes place. I’m most excited for the Spartans Ai. And smarter ai in general. How many of you were frustrated with kat’s driving? 😂 or shooting?

The SPARTAN AI behavior is amazing, watching one board a Wraith and proceed to beat the hell out of it makes me happy.
I just wish there was a gore factor, like when the needles explode so should the parts of the body the stuck into.
this actually makes it seem like a real firefight, and not as if youre some invincible warmachine, this is really cool.

I love the weapon variants and additions to the sandbox and I also enjoy the lore changes like friendly Spartan IIIs and green coloring on Noble Team. My only issue is it’s not the most balanced experience and I die from far away ridiculously quickly. Also I experience a weird bug where picking up the sword occasionally crashed the game lol. Seriously, credit to the mod creator, this mod feels like the precursor to an SPV3 style experience for MCC

Wow now the Reach campaing feels like you are fighting a full scale covenant invasion. While on the og campaing I always felt like you were outside the real battles and I suppose you are doing kind of spec ops missions because you are a Spartan but it does feel dull in many parts of the campaing

Hijacking hunters is probably my favorite feature next to the better AI
I like how there's references to Halo online with stuff like the ranged shotgun and buzzsaw.
A lot of the guns were inspired by Halo Online, including the color schemes haha.

Dude. Being able to climb onto hunters and punch them to death should be in the game by default. This whole mod looks killer. I'm usually a bit iffy on modded campaigns cuz I love retail for the most part but this one seems................FUN. Like not totally game breaking but adds some cool stuff that lets it stand out.
Can u imagine with they had all these guns with all new models? it would be like seeing other AR-15 platforms, different, unique but definitely an ar-15, similar to like an AR in 5.56 and one in .300 blackout. different ballistic performance among similar platforms. This is the kind of military esc re-energizing the franchise needs. Honestly a Halo game just like this would be awesome

A whole entire year late, but.
Back when Vadam was in the early stages of Evolved (which you say this is based on) I recommended that the elites use the minor and officer armours as the main getup for elites, for more faithfulness to the original story/art style of the series. I'm kinda glad it stuck around at least for a while, even in offshoot mods! Mod looks neat. :>

@@mo3xe436 There's been some rumblings about mod support for Halo MCC on the Xbox; a curated mod support aspect. But just a rumor, nonetheless. It would be great though, much like Fallout 4's mod support on console.

There are elites the duel wield in base game but it’s mainly only jet pack and stealth elites
There's something special about this. The mod definitely....but the video... this is unique. I'm not sure how to describe it.

I'm working on tweaking the difficulty a bit for the non-Legendary difficulties, along with messing with my brute redesign (health etc). No idea on when the update will be out but working on it actively.

I've noticed that the people who really like this mod are very skilled at Halo. The ones that cry about it being "unbalanced" do not make for very good multiplayer teammates.

I was already sold on the mod from the beginning but mounting A HUNTER AND PLANTING A GRENADE is something else. Better finish beating all of the MCC on legendary as fast as I can now. I just finished Reach and I'm in the middle of CE
I think some weapon variations just fit what can be done with different use within the original weapon (ex. burst firing AR with restrictive trigger pulls), but most of these are very cool & I plan to go check them out.

This mod looks amazing! Though, the Brute Plasma weapons existing on Reach are a tad of a LORE breaker.
Jumping on a Hunter would be awesome and it makes a ton of sense. You grab a handful of worms and yank them out over and over again.
