Thanks for the video. I just purchased one and was apprehensive to use it. Xou made it easier. I'd love to see more use of the rotary tool. That's what I got it for

Nice review and video. I ordered one when I first saw it. Just wish I had seen it sooner, so I would maybe have it already.

Can I ask you... yesterday I was watching your video and setting up my brand new machine. The black electricity "switching adapter" had a tiny green light on and the machine fired up nicely. I put my first piece of wood in to get started testing and the machine turned off. The little black adapter no longer had a green light. I tried plugging into a new outlet and nothing ever worked again. I'm guessing that my unit was shipped with a FAULTY electrical adapter? Has this happened to you or anyone? I'm contacting support or course, but what a disappointing start to my adventure. UGH.

That sucks. Nope, hasn't happened to me.

nifty! I really don't know if the extending top is necessary and not just a gimmick- I mean you need to keep the space clear above the unit anyway so whatever. Looks cool at least. Not blindingly pricy for the power and volume.

I like it. The lift is useful in that it lowers the top so you can get a closer look when it's working. I don't use enclosures with my other desktop lasers for that reason. Too high, too bulky, hard to see what's going on from a bird's eye view at times without spending extra to mount a video camera. Of course that means having to wear goggles or install shields on the modules, which come with their downsides. This one's pretty affordable compared to other enclosed 20W machines.

I bought this machine and it's more trouble than it's worth. It showed up broken and I've been trying to work with wecreat to fix it ever since.
One of the lift motor screws jams when it raises up and even after recalibrating it's cuts are inaccurate.

The full package design is so good and convinient.
    ...At $1.6k

Now compare that price to similar enclosed 20W diode machines equipped with the same features and put it in context. I'm pretty sure a sensible person would find that cost relatively cheap for what they're getting. This isn't a toy. It's a tool that can make toys, and loads of other things. People 'invest' in laser engravers to make $ for the same reason we invest in any other tool, whether we're making that $ out of the basement of our homes or a big fabrication shop. It's an investment, and at an avg $1.50/min, it's a relatively lucrative one.
