I love minor details like this, that's what makes this the best Fallout game in my opinion. Plus the companions felt more human than the robotic personality ones in Fallout 4.
The fact that you feel the need to shit on Fallout 4 in order to make a point about New Vegas being the best Fallout game is actually kind of insulting to New Vegas' legacy, honestly.

Ed-E is more difficult to estimate, but he was build a good deal after the bombs dropped. Lily didn't see the sun until super mutants raided her vault at 87 years old. So it's a bit of of a toss up who is older, Ed-E or Lily. Though I feel Lily is older. Rex was a cyber police dog before the bombs. Raul was already in his late twenties to early thirties before the bombs, the eldest of his siblings, so he's the oldest of all.
