A bunch of people jumped in a boat and saved the sailboat and other boats from damage. We don’t know who they are (at least I don’t) or if they even sail. What’s important is they saved the boat and that’s what matters! I’m sure the owner appreciated it no matter how good or bad they accomplished it. Cheers to them!
its a lot easier said tha done to chase after a run away boat and then find some lines to get control of it when you have as little time as they did. thats a nice boat too
I don’t understand what the hell they were doing, they had two chances to corral the beast and get her under control at the dock and past on both. I assume they powered her up and got her back to her mooring. I would have done it differently
It is just a shame that you didn´t just grab the bow of the sailboat and just do it fast and tie it to where it belonged. You guys seem to be so slow and louzy. Seeing this happen just boiled my blood inside of me, and I felt someones shame. You bummy sailors.
What lovely, kind and helpful people, really very nice boat they were in, too.
Love the cursing, and it is a beautiful boat. Great job guys.
Well done. Great folks were on hand to assist.

Переживательски. Молодцы!!!
That's too nice of a boat to end up on the bricks like it almost did. Great save.
Shoe-string tackle!!! Great job.
Freedom Yacht. 38 or 40. Nice boat wish they still made them... Carbon fiber free standing mast.
What a great rescue by people.
What a great rescue by people. Thats whats good seamanship looks like. Tumbs up
Well done, great job!💪👍😊
Appears to be a Freedom 36. Good thing this happened in daylight and with all the hands available, most likely a weekend. Whew!
well done. it was scary, indeed. not too much time and too crowded.
well done indeed!
BRAVO!!!!! I will buy a round of scotch if ever I am in the area!!!! George on the Seneca Chief
I'll take you up on that!
Boat captain still steadier than cameraman
Nice job time . Congratulations
why didnt the power boat tie up next to it and power her straight where they want it to go??? silly
He just wanted to anchor close to the club bar. I hope someone checked on the Cape Dory's mooring line.
They should have let the mainsheet go to reduce the windage.
Well done.
Great work
~~~~~~~~~ Nice, LIKE*
Suggest the club launch crew practice hot to execute ship tow, and how to tie off a vessel on a Tee Head.
well done
yes. that boat owner is very lucky those guys didnt mess around much longer than they did. I cant believe it didnt hit a thing. that was close
No, the insurance company was lucky.
Where is the DRAMATIC...
This whole break away & recovery took only 5 mins & 30 seconds, GREAT job by WYC members taking care of their fellow members boats!
True. There are some clubs where you are on your own!
was this a training exercise just lucky
6 pancakes in a boat. Well they managed at the end. Sheer luck it just missed all these boats on its path..
what was so dramatic or awesome about that?
Dramatic? please....
Pitiful seamanship by all involved/.
What's that thing they make? An Anchor?
As long time liveaboard sailor that was my first thought.
As long as the batteries are on and the windlass has power
what with no one aboard, who is going to throw it over..
Rescue was well done there is nothing dramatic in these pictures. Later it could have lead to a risk of drama
Wicked....embarassing.
Set the parking brake
Pure salvage award due
Video drone
I think not, they’ll get free dahk and stohmies from the owner at the YC for the rest of the season
Useless!
Pathetic performance by all
nothing dramatic in there
just another clickbait
if this is dramatic, I am Donald Trump !
Clearly, you don't sail. 5 boats in real danger and not a scratch.
