Doyoung became my bias during Treasure Box because of his confidence. While most of the trainees were always nervous and scared to go against the more impressive trainees, Doyoung was always ambitious and confident because he viewed even losing as an opportunity to become even better. He's my age and we're less than a month apart, so when Treasure Box aired we were both 14 and I remember thinking, "Even though he's my age, he's so assured of himself fully aware that he might not win." I always struggled with my confidence when I was younger but I never felt like I could gain confidence from an idol relate to them as much, because all the idols I liked were way older than me. Treasure Box Doyoung is one of the reasons why I started thinking about just putting myself out there, without having doubts about every little thing I do. That is why Doyoung is my ULTIMATE bias out of all my biases and ults.
Yedamie is the most passionate on music in TREASURE. He took a hiatus to study more about music especially in music production. The recent success of DARARI might have pressured him as well as motivated him to learn more to produce more masterpieces for his group.

Yedam is a GENIUS with music. His break has nothing to do with passion because he is one of the most passionate when it comes to music. He always was. ok I cannot talk enough about how good Yedam is, I have been his fan since he was a tiny 10yo on Kpop Star 2. to answer some of your questions about him, he was born and raised in Korea but yes his pronunciation of English is the most native sounding - probably due to his own efforts, despite being a trainee, he still managed to top his cohort in school for 2 subjects - the boy works really hard. he does have a solo debut song called Wayo, it was released before Treasure debuted as a gift to fans who had waited for him for ~7 years. And yes absolutely Yedam could have gone solo anytime, I believe YG did give him the option, but Yedam was the one who said he wanted to debut with the brothers that he had been training with as it was less lonely. He absolutely loves his members and it is very sweet to watch. he is also taking a break because of his passion for music! he wants to take the time to study it properly and come back as a better producer for Treasure. He's already participated in several songs for both Treasure and other YG artists (eg Seungyoon of Winner who coincidentally also wrote Yedam's solo song). Doyoung's personality is a strange combination. He was both humble and polite. But some times he lost control. Most importantly, his dancing is very special. 🐇❤️
I feel like Jaehyuk helps Asahi when it comes to being comfortable to openly express his feelings, while Jaehyuk can be a bit timid at times and Asahi's straightforward personality helps him with his confidence. I love that you noticed right away Jaehyuk would be good for Asahi, because they became close and got along as soon as they met. That's what I find so interesting about the friendship dynamic between Jaehyuk, Asahi, Haruto, and Jeongwoo because all 4 of them are very introverted, but in different ways. Jaehyuk and Jeongwoo are easily the most energetic members in Treasure and amazing with their variety content while Asahi and Haruto tend to have lower energy in those settings (they probably don't feel pressured to be energetic and wild because there's 10 other people). However, outside of Treasure's variety content, Jaehyuk and Jeongwoo are much more subdued and almost closed off (especially Jeongwoo) compared to Asahi and Haruto. They have such a balance between the 4 of them, I find how close they are so cute and even though I just said they're very introverted, when the 4 of them are together and have vlives they're so chaotic 😭
Jaehyuk and Asahi Jeongwoo and Haruto are the two closest bonds I think. And the four of them are always together on top of that. Two Japanese members with their favorite Korean teachers ❤️
2:00 Jaehyuk, at that time, was just beginning to learn how to sing and dance. He's only trained for 4 months before he joined Treasure Box. So he lack skills, still learning the basics.

Asahi has become more expressive (he's now 88% introvert ) they even tease him he will become very extrovert in their 10 anniversary 😂 Also Yoshi is Korean-Japanese (yes it's a whole shock in our fandom) Yoshi and Mashi go to the same high school.
basically JYP vs YG, wasn't an actual competition, its basically this tradition they have everytime YG or JYP release a new group and have a survival show they always do a fun battle to showcase their trainees, and also get higher ratings bcs people love battles. JYP and YG are friends, and so the clips of treasure members shown are from Stray Kid's survival show, where YG and the stray kids members visited YG before debut and YG just randomly chose a bunch of his trainees to go on the show, inclduing yedam who got viral yet again, Jihoon and Doyoung was also shown, but the rest of the yg trainees left after.

Before theyve become super tight and close like this there were some awkward moments ofc and Jline is a lot more quiet before but Jaehyuk is always the talkative one and I think they purposely set Jaehyuk along with Jline before to help bring out the loudness from jline lmao. Ofc, he's also super talented. I love him.
I need to explain a little bit about why Jaehyuk being in Treasure caused such a huge amount of hate and guess what ? Yeah it was YG fault. Basically Treasure Box was supposed to be a show where the line up was decided by YG and the public, people paid to vote for their fav and we had to watch some vlive fancam and contents to make the trainees rank high. So people did it, they voted massively and some trainees became super popular (for example Mashiho and Yoonbin). Also during the finale they did performances and got ranked online and onsite. And when the final line up was announced to everyone's surprise some people who were ranked 1 or 2 on public votes were nowhere to be seen but Jaehyuk (and I'm not defending the hate he got, I'm explaining why he got all the hate directed to him) who was nowhere near the top of the ranking was announced and people were so upset. Because YG chose the line up without caring for the public opinion, which would have been fine if it was the promise of the show but it wasn't so yeah. People called the show a scam, YG personal Instagram became a mess, the comments were all about the line up and it was such a mess that after a few days they announced they would do the second group because the hate was not stopping. In general Treasure Box was a terrible show and split the fanbase so much it's a miracle it didn't blow up more than that (their 18 months hiatus after the show was actually in my opinion the best for them because it allowed the hate and frustration to die down)

I feel like Jaehyuk helps Asahi when it comes to being comfortable to openly express his feelings, while Jaehyuk can be a bit timid at times and Asahi's straightforward personality helps him with his confidence. I love that you noticed right away Jaehyuk would be good for Asahi, because they became close and got along as soon as they met.
That's what I find so interesting about the friendship dynamic between Jaehyuk, Asahi, Haruto, and Jeongwoo because all 4 of them are very introverted, but in different ways. Jaehyuk and Jeongwoo are easily the most energetic members in Treasure and amazing with their variety content while Asahi and Haruto tend to have lower energy in those settings (they probably don't feel pressured to be energetic and wild because there's 10 other people). However, outside of Treasure's variety content, Jaehyuk and Jeongwoo are much more subdued and almost closed off (especially Jeongwoo) compared to Asahi and Haruto. They have such a balance between the 4 of them, I find how close they are so cute and even though I just said they're very introverted, when the 4 of them are together and have vlives they're so chaotic 😭

2:00 Jaehyuk, at that time, was just beginning to learn how to sing and dance. He's only trained for 4 months before he joined Treasure Box. So he lack skills, still learning the basics.

The thing about Asahi is that he's very introverted and quiet but he's not shy lol. The more you get into them the more you'll see that he's probably the weirdest member (in the best way of course) and his introvert percentage has changed its now in the 80s and he's actually quite loud these days too
This iconic YG vs JYP duels happens way back from BIGBANG era vs 2PM then was passed to winner and iKON having to go against got7 and Day6 when they were still trainees then the latest with skz and treasure A trainees. Hoping we still get these friendly match-ups cuz jyp and yg are really good friends

basically JYP vs YG, wasn't an actual competition, its basically this tradition they have everytime YG or JYP release a new group and have a survival show they always do a fun battle to showcase their trainees, and also get higher ratings bcs people love battles. JYP and YG are friends, and so the clips of treasure members shown are from Stray Kid's survival show, where YG and the stray kids members visited YG before debut and YG just randomly chose a bunch of his trainees to go on the show, inclduing yedam who got viral yet again, Jihoon and Doyoung was also shown, but the rest of the yg trainees left after.
asahi acc changed he's 87% introverted now, he's more open and we see his silly side now

Yetti you know in big 3 YG is only on who takes no charge for training their trainees they just have to select by YG they can leave YG anytime they want they just have to have talent and potential if YG can't see any improvement they can kick out as well YG spend average 150k krw on each trainee- said in YG treasure box ❤️

Cool how you described Jaehyuk, those were my exact thoughts predebut era. Before theyve become super tight and close like this there were some awkward moments ofc and Jline is a lot more quiet before but Jaehyuk is always the talkative one and I think they purposely set Jaehyuk along with Jline before to help bring out the loudness from jline lmao. Ofc, he's also super talented. I love him.

I need to explain a little bit about why Jaehyuk being in Treasure caused such a huge amount of hate and guess what ? Yeah it was YG fault. Basically Treasure Box was supposed to be a show where the line up was decided by YG and the public, people paid to vote for their fav and we had to watch some vlive fancam and contents to make the trainees rank high. So people did it, they voted massively and some trainees became super popular (for example Mashiho and Yoonbin). Also during the finale they did performances and got ranked online and onsite. And when the final line up was announced to everyone's surprise some people who were ranked 1 or 2 on public votes were nowhere to be seen but Jaehyuk (and I'm not defending the hate he got, I'm explaining why he got all the hate directed to him) who was nowhere near the top of the ranking was announced and people were so upset. Because YG chose the line up without caring for the public opinion, which would have been fine if it was the promise of the show but it wasn't so yeah. People called the show a scam, YG personal Instagram became a mess, the comments were all about the line up and it was such a mess that after a few days they announced they would do the second group because the hate was not stopping.
In general Treasure Box was a terrible show and split the fanbase so much it's a miracle it didn't blow up more than that (their 18 months hiatus after the show was actually in my opinion the best for them because it allowed the hate and frustration to die down)
