That... has a possibility of actually being true. Reports a few years ago had it that CZcams wasn't actually making a profit in its operation. Since then, it's not clear if anything has changed for them financially. Google may have decided that they really don't want to deal with it anymore, but they realize they can't just announce that they're closing down frickin' CZcams because the public backlash from that could severely impact their other businesses. So instead, they're just slowly trying to push creators away, hoping that it dies a somewhat natural-seeming death. I don't put full stock in this idea, but it's not beyond the pale as a possibility.

I really love how people start stressing about how unjust youtube is after being affected by them. That... has a possibility of actually being true. Reports a few years ago had it that CZcams wasn't actually making a profit in its operation. Since then, it's not clear if anything has changed for them financially. Google may have decided that they really don't want to deal with it anymore, but they realize they can't just announce that they're closing down frickin' CZcams because the public backlash from that could severely impact their other businesses. So instead, they're just slowly trying to push creators away, hoping that it dies a somewhat natural-seeming death.
I don't put full stock in this idea, but it's not beyond the pale as a possibility.
"it's like" is an understatement, CZcams is actually doing their best to, but people become somewhat masochistic, they keep clinging to youtube even with all those abuses
CZcams is trying to become a family friendly platform. Which will ultimately be its demise. That's why you see all of the celebrity and makeup channels. The moment Google bought out CZcams is the day that the platform started to go downhill. People used to come to CZcams BECAUSE it wasn't family friendly. They came BECAUSE it was different from the same old boring daytime tv bullshit. Now we get served a platter of more of the same. Everything's an ad for something. New creators can't get a foot in the door. It's all corporate trash now.
