Thanks! My non-fancy-but-just-fine-Iris-Xe-Graphics-Element-monitor display was stretched this morning, out of the blue.
In my case, your 3rd option worked. In Windows 11, the steps are:
System > Display > Advanced Display > Display adapter properties for Display # > List All Modes >
I tried a few in the list until both the screen and the tool bar icons returned to normal. Appreciate the straightforward help.

Thank you this was somewhat helpful, had to change my resolution from the NVIDIA control panel , turns out my system can’t carry a higher resolution size so I had to reduce it and it worked

Hey, thank you for saving my life. Didn't know you could change the resolution through the Advanced Display when you look through the list. I was able to fix my screen that was stretched out. I was having issues updating the AMD Drivers and your channel helped me to solve it.

I get this only in Windows installer (W10). Windows itself works completely fine. Windows 11 installer works without stretched visual glitches. The Windows 10 install still works, but I am still scared that it causes corruption. Confusing...

Bro I have a monitor connected to my windows. And my window screen is not stretched but my monitor for some reason is. How do I fix it?

Hi there, thank you for your question! Start by right-clicking on the desktop and select "Display settings." Scroll to the "Scale and layout" section and ensure the resolution is set to the recommended value, and the scaling is at 100% (or the recommended value). If the issue persists, click on "Advanced display settings," select the correct monitor, and verify that the refresh rate is accurate.

I have a HDMI Cable connected to one monitor and a VGA Cable connected to the other and when i put the same as HDMI to my VGA monitor (Just calling it that as VGA Cable is connected to the monitor thats annoying me), the taskbar is cut off as the VGA Monitor uses a lower resolution to HDMI

Hi there, thank you for your question! I recommend searching display in your taskbar and editing your setup's scale and layout tab until the taskbar is displayed correctly.

Hi there, thank you for your question! Go to display setting and then select the recommend option from the drop down if that still doesn't work try check the refresh rate is on the correct setting for your monitor. Then try boot into safe mode and see if the display is in the correct aspect ratio as then you will know it has something to do with the software on your computer causing the issue then try updating your bios and chipset drivers if nothing else works.

Hi there, thank you for your question! Can you explain the issue you're having in further detail, Is it unusable because of how it is stretched or is there a different issue?

      @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware  Před měsícem

Hi there, thank you for your question! So is the stretched issue resolved and now the only issue is the refresh rate of the monitor? Are you using multiple displays?

what if im on a 1080p tv monitor. And as soon as i try to go full screen in any game, it sets it to ultrawide and fits into screen. (Meaning i dont get any black borders.) It just stretches wide while height remains the same. Doesn't matter if i set desktop resolution to 1920x1080 and the same in game. The moment i go into settings and set the game to fullscreen. it just widens it while the resolution disappear.

Hi there, thank you for your question. If you're experiencing issues with games stretching to an ultrawide aspect ratio on a 1080p TV monitor when you set them to fullscreen, there are a few potential solutions you can try:
      Game Settings:
Check the in-game settings for each game that is exhibiting this behavior. Look for an option related to display resolution or aspect ratio. Ensure that it is set to 1920x1080 or your TV's native resolution.
      Graphics Driver Settings:
Access your graphics card control panel (NVIDIA Control Panel, AMD Radeon Settings, or Intel Graphics Command Center) and check for display settings. Ensure that the resolution is set to 1920x1080 and that any aspect ratio or scaling options are appropriate.
      Windows Display Settings:
Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
Ensure that your TV monitor is set to its native resolution (1920x1080) in the Windows display settings.
