  • Support the channel if you can / yellowstone Note - YOU SHOULD NEVER GET OUT OF YOUR CAR AND APPROACH BISON! On May 13, 2021 a baby bison stopped and laid down on the road while the other cows surrounded it from oncoming cars. One gentleman risked injury getting out of his truck and walked toward the cows. Thankfully he didn't get charged by a bison.

Only in a society with the vast majority removed from actually living with animals do such sentiments get "liked." Animals are often abandoned by their parents or left to die if they're weak or the runt of the litter, hence why that expression ever came into being. Animal fathers are rarely involved in the life of their offspring. Don't romanticize nature so much. She can be quite brutal.

NOT a smart thing to do with ANY number of bison! REALLY!? These people are invading BISON TERRITORY. THE BISON WERE THERE FIRST, A WAAAY LONG TIME AGO!! They have a right, as one of God's creatures, to live unimpeded by the so-called "higher intelligence" species. As one of those "higher intelligence" species, my take is, I'd rather live with bison than people. I also like dogs, WAAY MORE than people. MANY, MANY PEOPLE ARE STUPID AS FUCK!! The time is soon coming where those "really stupid" people will actually have to fend for themselves. Good luck with that. OR NOT!

One of them was about bears there who still used route that bears had used for thousands of years but which had been settled in the 1900's as an exclusive holiday area, The complaint was that bears were still going through the settlement and should find a different route! Wow that must be so difficult for those who are in a rush to get somewhere or have no patience. But if you have the time what an enjoyable moment.

So a little background - that road is a 51 mile deadend. Cars all knew that when they made that turn at Mammoth Hot Springs and headed towards Cook City. By the time they got to this point they have driven 31 miles in Yellowstone National Park. Ya knew what you signed up for in Bison territory.

@@andreat3627 They are like the ATV of the animal world. All weather, all terrain, amphibious, run up a hillside - down a hillside. Fight a wolf, fight a grizzly. Amazing.

That seemed like a pretty new baby. Poor thing just wanted to lay down and rest a while. The man who approaches the bison, some people just need to get some smarts put into them. My daddy taught us a healthy respect for the bison when I was a child. I grew up in South Dakota. Great video. I enjoyed watching it.
